NCIS 1211 or I can't believe that this show actually managed to shock me O.o! )

NCIS: NOLA 111 or is it just me or is the culprit totally obvious? )

Also, I decided to drop Scorpion and move The Flash to my "watch later on on DVD" list.

On Scorpion, I love the team but the cases are boring, I don't like Paige much and I hate all the attention the show's paying to Ralph and his dad by proxy. And all the unnecessary shipping goes on my nerves: Happy and Toby, Sylvester and Walter's sister, Walter and Paige, Paige and her ex... Why? Just... why?!

And The Flash... I'm not as enamored with the show like many others, it seems. It's a good one but also one better watched in big chunks. Because in big chunks, I can dismiss Barry's unhealthy obsession with Iris but week for week? Sorry, I don't find his infatuation endearing but creepy and annoying. He had ALL HIS FRICKIN' LIFE to tell her he loved her, but no. And now that she has a boyfriend he's starting to make an issue out of it? Stop, just... stop, please.

Also, Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I'll watch it once more eps air, marathon it. In these itty bitty pieces, I just don't enjoy it as much. The same goes for The Mentalist.

So, the only shows I WILL keep on watching "live" are: The Originals, NCIS, NCIS: NOLA, Agent Carter/SHIELD, Forever and The Librarians (only 4 eps to go there). Man, I really cut it down, didn't I? O.o But it will give me the time to watch my DVDs. Right now, I'm watching Smallville S8!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine 206: Fantastic last scene. Made me LOL so hard!

NCIS:LA 607: Great talk between Hetty and Nell. Meagan Tandy and Tamlyn Tomita!

NCIS 1207: Great last scene. I really love Bishop.

NCIS: NO 107: Again, great last scene. I love the black disabled hacker!

Agents of SHIELD 206: During S1, my favorite relationship on the show was FitzSimmons. Now? Fitz and Mack, and Hunter and Bobbi, or FitzMack and Huntingbird as the pairings are called on Tumblr. I especially adore the banter between between Hunter and Bobbi, it's Mr. and Mrs. Smith all over again. And it's adorable!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine 205: Funny as always. The best part, though, was Jake spoilers! ) LOL!

The Flash 105: I'm not a big fan of Xovers, so... I think this was the weakest episode yet, good but the weakest one of the bunch. Though it was interesting to see Wells spoilers! )

Stalker 101: The jury is still out on this one. The case was interesting but I find Dylan McDermott's character really creepy. It's like he's a sociopath only pretending to have real human emotions...

I unfollowed half of the Twitter accounts in my feed and decided to keep only the entertainment news ones, a few friends and a handful of celebrities whose tweets make me smile, like Linden Ashby's or Hugh Laurie's. I mostly use Twitter for one reason and one reason only: to get info on my favorite shows or movies. And to rant. That's it.

On the TV front?

The latest Agents of SHIELD was pretty cool, especially Simmons' fangirling over spoilers! ) That was sweet. Though the next ep will be rough what with spoilers! ) But I really adored when Fitz admired spoilers! )

Brooklyn Nine-Nine was funny but it pushed my embarrassment buttons a bit too much this week. But I adored that spoilers! )

Constantine was... passable. I'll continue watching it but the premiere really didn't bowl me over.

But The Flash did! Gosh, I'm in love with the show. Grant Gustin... wow, just... wow! I adore that everyone is so protective of Barry, literally everyone! Though, what's really creepy is spoilers! ) So, SO GOOD!

Another thing: I started craving Stalia again so I've been watching many, many Stalia vids on YT.

I also read two of Josh Lanyon's books, that's why I've been so absent these last few days. I was curled up in a bed, reading. Gosh, "The Boy with the Painful Tattoo" and "The Haunted Heart: Winter" were SO GOOD!

One book I had to drop, though, and that was "Mélusine" by Sarah Monette. Rape, more rape, sexual violence, mind games, suffering on top of suffering... It was rec'd to me because I liked Lynn Flewelling's books but those two authors and their books are like apples and celery!

I really love the depth of friendship among the characters in this show, especially Peralta and the Sarge. And I really loved what Peralta told Amy, that spoilers! ) That was incredibly lovely and mature of him. Also, his friendship with Rosa... they harp on each other but when it counts, they're there for each other. It's like when she talked to him about spoilers! ) And then there are Boyle and Gina who are just... LOL.

You know, I actually hope that spoilers! ) Or at least it would make for a good fic!

This show is strangely addictive. You don't think you'll like it all that much and then you start watching and just CAN'T STOP!

What I like best about B99 are the serious scenes. There aren't many but when they drop the jokes and actually get serious about their jobs, when they catch bad guys, it's really powerful because usually, they are such goofs. Especially Peralta is actually an amazing detective.

Speaking of Peralta, yeah, he's childish but when he screws up, he owns up to it, he admits that he made a mistake and why he did it, it's not just an empty apology. And he's a great friend, especially to Charles.

I also love Cpt. Holt and his inscrutable expression and Terry Crews, the huge, muscly, mean looking Terry Crews, as the fussy Sarge.

All I can say is, that this is one of the best sitcoms out there these days.

The Following, New Girl, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Mindy Project - they all got renewed for another season by Fox: link. Still no news about Almost Human, though.

Here's the synopsis of Sherlock, ep 302, The Sign of Three: link. It sounds hilarious!

There's a new Terminator show int he works: link. Interesting. I didn't like The Sarah Connor Chronicles, mostly because I found the actor playing John annoying and I really, really, really don't like Summer Glau as an actress.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a pretty funny show! But the highlight of the Xmas episode was definitely spoilers! )

I finally understood what people meant when they said that, following episode 106, Agents of SHIELD gets really good. Because it really does. The Thor follow-up episode was especially great, it made me care about Ward, for the first time I actually liked him, he stopped being just a mechanical Ken doll. I could say, this, THIS is what I've been missing! And I really love spoilers ) And FitzSimmons! They are awesome! Fitz was incredible in 107! And Coulson... How DID he survive? I love the mystery!

So, both thumbs up from me. Even if you didn't like the premiere or the few eps that followed, stick with it, friends. It does get good and the team finally CLICKS!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine 110. Best episode yet! )

Haven 411. I love the Nate & Duke friendship this season! )

The Mentalist 608. So, Red John is... )

Lewis Collins, Bodie from the UK TV show The Professionals, died :( That's so sad. I loved the guy and I loved him as Bodie. I think I shall re-watch the show in his honor. Bodie and Doyle were one of my first OTPs!

I watched episodes 301-302 of The Listener. So far, I like S3 more than the previous seasons, now that Toby has an official status with the special unit and every one of his colleagues knows about his gift. I loved the captain's reaction. And I'm glad that Oz keeps being awesome!

I also watched episode 201 of Doctor Who. My first episode with David Tennant. 10 is so much better than 9, I'm already liking the show much more. Loved his scenes with the Face of Boe - Cpt. Jack was called "The Face of Boe" once, wasn't he?

Oh, and BBC's Atlantis was renewed for S2, just FYI. Congrats to its fans.

#2 Brooklyn Nine-Nine

LOL! Best scene of the show so far. "Are you trying to jam pigeons into my air conditioning vent to flush me out of my office?" Man, I watched it so many times, even showed it to my mom and interpreted it for her. We LOL'd ourselves silly. Peralta and the captain are a hoot together, always making each other's life miserable. Best characters on the show.

Agents of SHIELD 101. Why is it so bland? )

Brooklyn Nine Nine 109. I really like Peralta when he gets serious. )

Elementary 209. Thank you for proving that Sherlock, any Sherlock out there, is NOT a pleasant man! )

Supernatural 906-907. I've always defended Dean but right now? He's being an ass! )

I'm also downloading TVD again but it's mostly going like this, blahblahblahblah-JEREMY&BONNIE-blahblahblah-JEREMY&BONNIE-blah for me. Yes, Jeremy and Bonnie are my reason to watch it. They are such an incredibly hot couple. There's something about them... *_* Hopefully, the writers don't break them up again. That would piss me off, really!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine 101-107. Painful first episode but the characters grow on you with time. )

Elementary 201. I wish Sherlock would stop grimacing all the time, he looks like an asylum escapee. )

Haven 409. My least favorite ep of the season. )

Since our National Bank in its epic wisdom artificially lowered the value of our koruna, I won't be buying as many shows on DVD as I planned. It's back to downloading, I guess. Which is why I started watching Elementary and why I will try to catch up on Grimm and Warehouse 13; I planned to get them on DVD - and I still do, because I prefer to support my shows, but not ASAP anymore. I will now wait for the shows to drop below Ł10. With the current exchange rate I can't afford a higher price.
