I haven't been here for 14 whole days. Huh. Well... Merry Christmas, in any case! :) I'm mostly spending my time over on Tumblr, still as smitten as ever with Shadowhunters and since Freeform gave us another trailer for Xmas, here ya go, sharing is caring ;)

Is it January 2nd (3rd morning for me) yet?

Sheesh, it's been almost a month since I was here. Huh. I'm still very active, fandom wise, just not here anymore... I've now written over 200k words in my Shadowhunters ficlet collection (350 chapters!) and I'm still as obsessed with SH as before. And... that's pretty much it.

This is truly one of the most beautiful vids that I've ever seen. And the song is simply heartbreaking, considering the context...

Lost Girl: 110-113! Done with S1. There was one more episode with Vex and, gosh, he's such a bad, bad man. I really can't wait to see what will change him so much that he will fall for someone as pure as Mark at the end!

Castle: 301-312! You know what always catches me off guard? Those sweet moments between Castle and his mother. They always banter and bicker, but they love each other so much. I adore that he really admires her as a mother and a grandmother, too. He has so much respect for the struggle she went through as a single mom.

Shadowhunters: The cast is slowly trickling back to Toronto, training for the upcoming season! Filming is imminent! YUSS! Gimme!

Lately, all that seems to interest me is Shadowhunters and writing fics for it. I'm up to 130 of them now, heh! I can't seem to get enough. But since LJ is pretty much dead in general, but when it comes to Shadowhunters, it's literally a wasteland, I'm over on Tumblr all the time and barely here anymore. If you want to visit me, I'm drakamena over there.

One thing is new, though, and that's my deep love for Stephanie Bennett - see icon. She played Lydia Branwell on Shadowhunters S1 and Lydia was just... wow. My favorite female character on the show, and considering she's an original creation for the show, not a character from the books, it's rather amusing. But Lydia is just... Seriously, I'm writing fics about Lydia Branwell. I've never fallen so fast for any female character like I did for hers. I really hope that the writers will bring her back for S2, considering their decision to move away from the books in S2!

For now, I guess I'll have to dig up everything that Stephanie was in so far... She's just so... so... MWAH!

Not only was Shadowhunters renewed for S2, but also given 20 (!!!) episode order! 20 episodes, folks! That's 7 more than in S1! And even the official Freeform press release promises us "a lot more Malec!" Link. They really know what their fans are after, LOL! Gosh, gimme all the Malec!

And not only that, but Fox also renewed Lucifer and Rosewood for S2! And NBC renewed Grimm for S6. And Supernatural will have S12! And The Magicians will have S2! Happy happy times!

They actually released the wedding clip! OMG, they released it!

Wow! Just... wow! And Jalec - Jace/Alec - aren't even a couple, just platonic soulmates. Like literally, soul bonded on the show. I have never seen it done this way, a bond like that, and I'm seriously smitten. Just one of the reasons why I adore the show... ♥_♥
