I haven't been here for 14 whole days. Huh. Well... Merry Christmas, in any case! :) I'm mostly spending my time over on Tumblr, still as smitten as ever with Shadowhunters and since Freeform gave us another trailer for Xmas, here ya go, sharing is caring ;)

♥ Saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens today. I loved Finn and Rey, and what we saw of Poe. Leia was also awesome. But Han... ( spoilers ) And Kylo Ren... ( spoilers ) I would say 7/10 - some good action but it didn't inspire a sense of awe in me like the previous movies.

♥ Saw the trailers for Point Break - YES! Creed - eh. Captain America: Civil War - ok.

♥ My mom offered to buy me a wireless mouse for Xmas. So, I ordered it today because they still promise to deliver it in time. But I added a little something for her - a purple tablet cover. That way, if the parcel does NOT arrive in time, we will both get a little something next week :)

♥ Yes, I'll give my mom a new tablet for Xmas - 10.1" Prestigio Multipad. Her 8" has been wonky these last few weeks. And also some Davidoff perfumes - 3 scents. And as a funny bit, neon stickers/reflective items for safe walking in the dark, they're neon pink and really cute :)) And also a purple document case, water- and shatterproof, made of aluminum. I love to give her "serious" gifts and then something funny.

At this moment, the characters are all that keeps me going. Because, yes, the characters are amazing. John, Dorian, Maldonado, Stahl, even Rudy... They are funny, likable and they have fantastic chemistry - and they deserve better storylines, honestly. So far, the writing has been average at best and I ffwd'd through some parts because, when John and Dorian aren't on the screen, bickering, it's... kinda boring.

Best parts? ( Spoilers! ) Basically, everything John and Dorian related.

I also hope that ( if wishes were horses... ) That would be all kinds of awesome, wouldn't it?

On another note, I bought some movies as a Xmas gift to myself: Underworld 3&4, Jack Reacher, Daybreakers, Hysteria and Wrath of the Titans. They had them all cheap...

I received some really sweet gifts from my mom this year. And Children of Dune from yami_tai! You should've heard me coo with happiness. Man, I love this mini-series so much. Yes, I'm still smitten with Leto and Ghanima!



And then we watched Red with my mom because she's awesome and she loves Bruce Willis. I talked her ear off about Karl Urban. He looked really cool in this movie. Lovely!

Today is my name-day - my RL name's Kateřina - so I bought a gift for myself: a digital camera, OLYMPUS FE 47 Silver. Yup, until now, I've lived without a digital camera. Don't ask me how, but it was getting mighty inconvenient, let me tell you, and since I'm going to...

Well, I hope I won't jinx it by saying it aloud: I'm going to the Supernatural con Jus in Bello in Rome next year. Awesome guests were announced: Jared and Jensen and Misha, Mark A. Sheppard and Richard Speight Jr. - and Eric Kripke! And Steve Carlson :) I bought the Angel Pass, which allows me to attend basically everything. I hope that at least some of the guests arrive *crosses fingers tight*

But back to my camera. I promised myself that from now on, I won't buy anything till Xmas. Well, should the offer be too good to resist... Ehm. And I still want to buy my mum Iron Man 2, The A Team and Inception on DVD for Xmas, she loves movies like that. I bet she'll adore the new A Team!

Finally, my comment notifications are coming in. It'll take some time to sort out to what I already responded, though *sigh*

I started reading Naomi Novik's "Throne of Jade", second in her Temeraire series. From the direction the book took on the very first page, I suspect that this one will be an angst!fest O.O
