Lost Girl: 110-113! Done with S1. There was one more episode with Vex and, gosh, he's such a bad, bad man. I really can't wait to see what will change him so much that he will fall for someone as pure as Mark at the end!

Castle: 301-312! You know what always catches me off guard? Those sweet moments between Castle and his mother. They always banter and bicker, but they love each other so much. I adore that he really admires her as a mother and a grandmother, too. He has so much respect for the struggle she went through as a single mom.

Shadowhunters: The cast is slowly trickling back to Toronto, training for the upcoming season! Filming is imminent! YUSS! Gimme!

Now that Lost Girl ended, I got S1 on DVD and plan on getting the rest, too. I needed to know how the show would end, what the endgame couples would be - I hate shipping something only to be disappointed. And I'm so very, very, VERY happy that my OTP slash couple turned out to be canon. YUSS! Now I can actually follow the character progress of those two guys.

And that's why I loved the episode Vexed so much. Knowing where Vex's character arc ends, it's so shocking to see where it begins, but at the same time, knowing this, no wonder he's then later on so reluctant to start anything with the boy - and why Dyson is so dead set against their relationship.

But the best episode so far was definitely Fae Day. God, the two brothers, the death of the older one... that made me actually cry. What an impact that episode had on me!

9 episode down, 4 still to go in S1. Huzzah!

I obviously really need to catch up on Lost Girl, especially considering how it ended for this pairing, Vex/Mark aka Vark! Endgame, folks! They were endgame! I can't actually believe it. I didn't even know this pairing existed, till I saw it rec'd on Tumblr and... SHEESH!

A centuries old, club owning mesmer falls hard for a young shapeshifter - so young, actually, that he's considered little more than a child among their people, that's why Vex the Mesmer doesn't do anything about his love for Mark the Wolf, he just protects him, watches over him... until Mark chooses him, until Mark takes the first step and chooses being with Vex over everything else. Now THAT's a romance!

You know what's awesome about this show? Besides Dyson, that is? The friendship between Bo and Kenzi. I really need more female friendships like that. Yes, they talk about their love lives together, but they also kick ass together and they take down fey together and they are generally awesome - together! And they joke around and hug and cuddle and slap each other's ass and it's glorious!

I'm so curious about how Dyson will get his love for Bo back now that he traded it for Bo's life, the poor thing. And I hope Kenzi and Hale become a couple because they are perfect for each other! And I need to know how Dyson and Trick became such good friends - Trick risked the wrath of both the Ash and the Morrigan for Dyson, honoring the sanctuary!

It's glorious. Everything is glorious *happy sigh*

I really don't like Lauren. And not because I'm all, eww, she's getting in the way of my OTP, or something similarly stupid. I just think that Dyson was right: Bo shouldn't trust her. I mean, I'm aware that Dyson is also lying to her but at least he's trying to protect her and he is trying to keep his distance, not lure Bo in. I mean, Bo's shocked face when she realized Lauren slept with her only because Ash told her so... Ugh.

I wonder when or even if Bo will realize that she's actually hurting Dyson when she sleeps with him. Like, not emotionally, but physically hurting him and he's just keeping mum about it because he knows she needs the energy to heal. Even Kenzi noticed, for cryin' out loud!

I just love Bo's insatiable appetite for sex! It's such a novelty! Men, women, threesomes... anything goes for her. And nobody's judging her, least of all Kenzi. And it's awesome!

And I adore the friendship between Dyson and Kenzi. When Kenzi got sick, the way he cared for her. And she's so tiny next to him, it was so sweet when she curled up into him. She looked like a kitten. But I also love the friendship between Kenzi and Trick, and between Kenzi and Hale. Kenzi herself can be a little obnoxious from time to time, but she's wonderfully open about her likes and dislikes.

I was contemplating what to watch... I didn't feel like watching any of the currently running US shows - I like a lot of them but none of them tickled my fancy today. And so I chose Lost Girl. I have planned to watch it for months if not years. I remember seeing the first episode and not being all that impressed, especially with the main male hero. But then... then I watched The Listener where Kris Holden-Ried has the recurring part of Sgt. McCluskey's ex-husband - and I SAW LIGHT!

Man! How could I have ever been NOT attracted to this man? Yeah, he's not Ken-doll pretty but man... he's so tall and lean, and his voice is pure velvet... And his smile!!! *_* And I just adore the relationship between his character, Dyson, and the main heroine, the succubus Bo. When he looks at her, it's... it's like when Thor looks at Jane, with his heart in his eyes. And he turns into a wolf, a gorgeous, silver wolf!

And Bo! Rarely has there been a heroine that I liked so much! And I just love that her bisexuality not only isn't a problem, it's actually explored! Also, she kicks so much ass and as she insists, she doesn't need saving. And it's wonderful because she's so determined and relentless...

And then there are Kenzi and Lauren... And so many other characters I can't wait to explore! *happy* But mostly: BO & DYSON! That's what I call chemistry, folks!

Lost Girl renewed for S2!

Thanks to the amazing outpouring of support that Lost Girl has yielded from fans across Canada -- which has translated into record-breaking ratings -- Showcase is proud to announce that the series has been renewed for a second season. Since the program debuted, it has consistently drawn over 700,000 viewers weekly, making it the number one scripted drama series across all Canadian specialty channels.

Awesome! Now I need to catch up on the show. So many shows, so little time...

Peeps, you need to watch Lost Girl! It's urban fantasy in TV format. Bo's a succubus who chooses humans in the eternal squabble between the dark fey and the white ones. There are werewolves and other creepy crawlies! Her sidekick, Kensi, is so funny. And Bo's bisexual! It's so many awesome things wrapped up in a pretty cool package. I wasn't smitten with the pilot - not like, for example, with White Collar's - but it was engaging enough to get me interested. The show has much, much potential and the special effects are really cool! I hope this show doesn't flop! *crosses fingers*

The show's promo.
