Dec. 20th, 2013 11:24 pmI admit I still haven't finished S1 - got stuck on ep 108, you know, the one where Mike Weston gets all bruised and beaten and stabbed? - but what I have heard about S2 so far, makes me very happy and very curious!

Sep. 22nd, 2013 05:10 pmI still haven't finished The Following's S1 and by now, it'll be easier to just wait for the DVDs to come out. Yes, I do plan to buy the box set. And yes, the FBI is a bit stupid in the show but I adore, ADORE the friendship between Ryan Hardy and Mike Weston.

Adan Canto Cast in XM:DOFP

Adan Canto who played Paul Torres in The Following was cast, according to his own Twitter, in X-Men: Days of Future Past. His tweets are collected here: link. There's also a picture of him with the cast, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, among others. In one of his tweets he mentioned he "might turn into a ball of fire" if someone pissed him off. So, fans now speculate he might be playing Sunspot:
If he is, then I think it's a pretty accurate casting. Sunspot should've appeared in XMFC already but was written out. Now it looks like he's back in the game. I'm glad for Canto, he's a really good actor and deserves to become famous!
Also, funny thing: XM:DOFP also stars Shawn Ashmore who was with Adan Canto in The Following this year! Ha :) And Kevin Bacon was in XMFC. Funny.

The Following 101-108
Mar. 16th, 2013 10:32 amYes, you're seeing right - 101-108!!! I stayed up till 2am and marathoned all 8 episodes! And it was glorious. I agree with people who say that the FBI is particularly inept in this show but except for that? Gosh, I love it!
But my real fannish obsession is...

... Mike Weston, played by Shawn Ashmore. I have such a soft spot for the Ashmore brothers - I watch Warehouse 13 for Aaron and The Following for Shawn - and Mike is... Mike is perfection pure! I just adore his friendship with Kevin Bacon's Ryan Hardy. I adore that Mike didn't give up when Ryan rebuffed him at first and how he slowly became Ryan's only real friend and ally, someone Ryan could trust implicitly. That's just so, so awesome!

I'm downloading it and I plan to marathon it once the season is over, 8 episodes still to go. I just need to know that Shawn Ashmore's character survives this season, the writers are quite trigger-happy, let me tell you. And the Ashmore brothers are so cute, Aaron is the reason why I watch Warehouse 13! \o/
