I'm way behind on Arrow, and Constantine turned out to be not my cuppa, but I know that there are people who love both on my flist. So yes, the rumor is true, Matt Ryan will guest star on Arrow this fall as John Constantine himself. Stephen Amell rooted for it so hard, I bet he's over the moon! Source. It's just for one episode but if it's a hit, he could come back, especially since they're introducing magic to the Arrow universe this fall...

The exec of Constantine let the fans know that he failed to find the show a new home. The actors were released from their contracts and the sets were taken down. Source. Sorry, fans, until now there was still SOME hope but the show's definitely over :(

Forever 101+102: Suspend your disbelief and just enjoy the funny, that would be my advice. Because the show can be downright hilarious - the cops discovering Henry's sex toy collection, thinking it murder instruments? LOL! - and the relationship between Henry and Abe is incredibly sweet.

NCIS 1209: Loved this episode. But then, I love Smart!Tony. And Bishop's spoilers! )

NCIS: NO 109: I didn't care for this episode, especially in the light of current world events. But I did love the bit with Pride's spoiler! )

Scorpion 110: Again, I think you need to totally and completely suspend your disbelief to enjoy this show because the plots make little to no sense. This show is the new A-Team for me AKA just go with it and don't think about it too hard. Also, Europe's forests look nothing, absolutely nothing like California's woods. You can't just point at a group of trees in California and say, "Bosnia!"

The Flash 107: I wish they would tone down the shipping. I really don't care about how Barry always moans about Iris and can't stay away from her as the Flash. Dude, you had years to tell her. She has a boyfriend now. Grow a pair and grow up! It's a cool little show but not as gripping as I thought it would be.

Also, NBC decided NOT to pick up Constantine for a back-nine order, which means S1 will have only 13 episodes. S2 is still possible but the ratings are rather wonky. Yes, they are better than Hannibal's but H has international financing ergo it's cheap for NBC and it's a critical darling. C not so much. Just a heads-up, folks, since I dropped the show.

That's it. Episode 104 was the last one I could stomach. I don't like Constantine's arrogance and aloofness. I don't care about any of the secondary characters. I feel like I've seen all of that, every single thing they show, on Supernatural already, 10 years ago, but with more appealing characters.

Also, this show's a goner anyway, its ratings went downhill really fast: 1.4 --> 0.9 --> 1.0 --> 0.8. I doubt it will receive a back-nine order since it doesn't have the critical acclaim of Hannibal to keep it afloat.

So yeah, dropping Constantine as of this moment.

Constantine 102+103: Ep 1 was good. Eps 2 and 3? Not so much. Pretty much what Supernatural had done 10 years ago. It exudes a feeling of "been there, done that." And I know that the Constantine comic book predates SPN. It doesn't matter. Everything this show's doing right now, SPN has already done 3 or 4 times on TV. I will continue watching it but I get why the ratings are so very low (1.0 demo last week).

Elementary 301+302: I have a problem with this series that's getting more and more pronounced as it continues: Joan doesn't need Sherlock. She has never needed him in any way or shape or form. I think it all started at the beginning, when he wasn't anything but a client for her, she was paid to be there. She didn't need anything from him. And even now, she doesn't need his friendship, his advice or his company, she made that known loud and clear. There's no give-n-take in their relationship. Joan has become a Watson-Sherlock amalgam and Sherlock's literally not needed anymore because she's now the doctor AND the detective. Sherlock has become redundant. It makes me wonder why they hadn't simply cast Lucy Liu as a Shirley Joan Holmes-Watson outright. Because that's what she is. Also, I feel sorry for Kitty. She's the painful fifth wheel. Sherlock's treating her the same way 10 treated Martha - by endlessly reminding her she's the "lesser" model by shoving the "perfect" model down her throat at every opportunity. No wonder the show's tanking in the ratings this season.

NCIS:LA 606: Another episode in which nothing at all made sense, Callen behaved deranged and OOC and Kensi and Deeks seemed to be on a completely different show. Are the writers even trying these days?

Scorpion 107: I know that many people are put off by Walter's stand-offish attitude but that's exactly why I love him. He isn't aloof to be an asshole, that's simply how his experience molded him. In this episode, you could see spoilers! ) And that's why I like Walter so much!

I unfollowed half of the Twitter accounts in my feed and decided to keep only the entertainment news ones, a few friends and a handful of celebrities whose tweets make me smile, like Linden Ashby's or Hugh Laurie's. I mostly use Twitter for one reason and one reason only: to get info on my favorite shows or movies. And to rant. That's it.

On the TV front?

The latest Agents of SHIELD was pretty cool, especially Simmons' fangirling over spoilers! ) That was sweet. Though the next ep will be rough what with spoilers! ) But I really adored when Fitz admired spoilers! )

Brooklyn Nine-Nine was funny but it pushed my embarrassment buttons a bit too much this week. But I adored that spoilers! )

Constantine was... passable. I'll continue watching it but the premiere really didn't bowl me over.

But The Flash did! Gosh, I'm in love with the show. Grant Gustin... wow, just... wow! I adore that everyone is so protective of Barry, literally everyone! Though, what's really creepy is spoilers! ) So, SO GOOD!

Another thing: I started craving Stalia again so I've been watching many, many Stalia vids on YT.

I also read two of Josh Lanyon's books, that's why I've been so absent these last few days. I was curled up in a bed, reading. Gosh, "The Boy with the Painful Tattoo" and "The Haunted Heart: Winter" were SO GOOD!

One book I had to drop, though, and that was "Mélusine" by Sarah Monette. Rape, more rape, sexual violence, mind games, suffering on top of suffering... It was rec'd to me because I liked Lynn Flewelling's books but those two authors and their books are like apples and celery!

Looks pretty good. Hopefully, it won't flop like The Cape did. That one also looked great based on its trailer and from what I heard, it turned out to be lame and it flopped within 13 eps. So, fingers crossed!
