Movies! Movies!
Aug. 26th, 2017 10:56 pmSpider-Man: Homecoming: A funny movie. I think it might be my favorite Spidey film yet. But that doesn't say much since he isn't exactly my favorite character. I loved the bits with Peter and Tony Stark, but the lovey-dovey parts bored me to tears. It was so cliché.
Delivery Man: I bought this film on DVD solely for Matt Daddario who played one of David's 500+ kids, the gorgeous gay one. Turns out, the movie's surprisingly sweet and funny. But yeah. Matt Daddario's Channing is my favorite part of the film.
Star Trek: The 2009 version. I'm not as smitten with it as I used to be. It's still funny and there are some truly amazing scenes in it but my infatuation with the movie kind of worn off. The casting remains perfect, though.
Deepwater Horizon: Still one of the best movies that I've ever seen. The mounting tension, especially when you know how it will end, is positively amazing. Yes, I went to see it in the cinema for Dylan O'Brien who played one of the survivors, but it is a really great movie, overall.
