katikatWarcraft: Saw it in the cinema and thought it was pretty good. It did have the feel of a TV production since it was all green-screen - I mean, no wonder, there were so many non-existent locations, after all, and all the TV actors like Callum Keith Rennie or Ruth Negga or Dominic Cooper didn't help - but it was still pretty good. Travis Fimmel was, as always, excellent and Lothar's relationship with Kaghdar reminded me so much of Ragnar's relationship with Athelstan! And I ship Lothar and Garona like whoa!
When the Game Stands Tall: This one I downloaded - and immediately after I finished watching it, ordered it on DVD because IT WAS SO GOOD! I mean, I'm not into inspirational Christian movies, despite being Christian myself, but this one actually inspired me! It had Jim Caviezel and Matt Daddario and Alexander Ludwig... and it was such a wonderful movie about the strength of friendship and putting the team above one's self, I actually had tears in my eyes! And I loved the friendship between Danny (Matt Daddario) and Chris (Alexander Ludwig), it was great.
And it seems that I might have actually written the first ever fanfic for this film. There are none anywhere, I checked. Dude, HOW?
