Day 12: Character you don’t like seeing paired with anyone else

I don't ship him with anyone and I don't want to see him shipped with anyone. Not in fics, not in the show itself. I think there's enough ship-drama in the show, Kensi & Deeks, Nel & Erik, Sam & non-existent wife... I'm glad that he's ship-drama free, at least for the time being! And I hope he stays that way. I love his bromance with Sam, I really, really do, but I don't see it as slashy, for once, at least not slashy enough to go and search for fics. I love Callen as he is, the show's main woobie!

Poor Martin Crieff!

Benedict Cumberbatch was asked if he would have tea with Martin Crieff, his character in Cabin Pressure. His response:

"Oh God, NO! He'd spill it on himself and then I would have to clean that up for him. Then he would walk into a door and I'd have to phone an ambulance. And he'd end up hijacking the ambulance by accident, thinking it's taxi home. He's a disaster."

Supernatural officially picked up!

Supernatural was officially picked up for S8! Woohoo! Link. Together with The Vampire Diaries and 90210. This makes SPN the oldest show currently running on the CW. Wow, who would've thought that 6 years ago, when the show used to be on the bubble every year. Now, it's always among the first picks. How the times change...

Benedict Cumberbatch reacts to slash fanfiction

And he does it in a very classy way: YouTube link to a short MTV video. I just love his reaction, that he's "startlingly aware" of it - though Martin Freeman obviously knows much more! - but he doesn't mind. Just the opposite, he admires the time and effort fanfic and fanart authors put into their work. American actors should take notice! This is what being classy really means!

Also, on a very shallow note, he looks gorgeous in the vid. Tight jeans, a white t-shirt and a black leather jacket. And his shoes! I love his shoes! It's obvious that he filled up for his part in Star Trek, he isn't as slight as he was playing Sherlock, he has more muscle. And it suits him! What an attractive man!

And I have to wonder who told Martin Freeman where to look for stuff like that. As Benedict said, Martin used to be a luddite during S1. And suddenly, after his return from New Zealand, he was a Mac owner and knew where to find Sherlock slash... LOL, I bet the people working on The Hobbit told him about LotR slash and one thing lead to another... Ha!
