TV meme!

Day 17 - Favorite mini series:

Hm, are two made-for-TV movies a mini-series? If so, then Guns of Honor with Christopher Atkins, Martin Sheen and Corbin Bernsen. Pretty much a western set in the post-Civil War years. I know that the movies are full of plot holes and inaccuracies and whatnot, but it's an amazing buddy series. As in, a group of friends that would die for each other. And for that, I loved it like you wouldn't believe it :)

He woke up a couple of hours later in the dark, instinct rousing him. The main room was empty, and the other bed hadn't been slept in: the curtains were blowing in the window from the open balcony doors. John frowned and padded out onto the balcony. Nobody could have taken Clark without enough of a fight to wake him, so John wasn't worried, exactly, he just had a hell of a bad gut feeling—and then he spotted Clark, hovering in mid-air, just above the big jutting terrace six or seven windows down, near the center of the palace building.

Luthor stepped out onto the terrace and looked up. Clark landed, apparently so the two of them could stare at each other without saying anything. Finally Luthor said, "Are you coming in?"

Clark stood for another moment, and then he said, so quietly John could barely hear it, "Yes."

They went inside. A minute later, the lights went out.

John stared. What the fuck.

Man, I love this fic! Lex is so... Lex. And Clark's just so smitten with him. And the way Twilight reads it is just awesome!

Hawaii Five-0

You know, I wasn't all that sure about the remake of Hawaii Five-0. Not because I used to be a fan of the original - I wasn't, I tried an ep or two and found it boring - but because I'm not a big fan of Alex O'Loughlin. Sacrilege, I know. But then I realized that maybe, just maybe, it's not Alex but his roles so far. Moonlight I dropped a few eps in, because it was boring. Three Rivers... uh, better not to speak about that. And then I saw the opening credits for H50 - and I was kind of smitten! Link. Seems like fast-paced fun! And it has Grace Park and Daniel Dae Kim! Now, I'm kinda looking forward to it. Too bad that it'll go against Castle and crush it like a bug, no doubt :(
