All over the place...
Dec. 7th, 2007 09:39 amI finished my Guilin, China jigsaw puzzle and I started working on the Richard Burns' one. Wow, the colors are so vibrant! *nerdy*
Last night, I discovered an amazing song. It's "Flutopia" by Flook. The song starts with a guitar melody, like nothing special. But then come the flutes and the guitar drops off and the drums start. And it goes on and on and on and faster and faster. In the end, you feel like the song vibrates through you! Oh wow, I need to get my hands on other stuff by Flook!
I started watching The Persuaders! from the beginning last night. This is the first time I see it in English. I'm so used to watching it in German - if you haven't seen Die Zwei (as it is called in Germany) in German, you missed an incredible experience! - so this is completely new for me. But Roger Moore and Tony Curtis rock in any language :D
If you love The Donald Strachey Mysteries and you love the movies, then go here to the
nick_n_nora comm where one of the members posted an excerpt from Ron Oliver's, the movies director's, blog. My favorite part?
I am not so Pollyanna as to be unaware that I still live in a world where the sight of two men kissing elicits, at the best, nervous laughter -- and, at the worst, open hostility. But if the religious kooks out there get to believe in the sheer lunacy of virgin births, walking on water, and the resurrection of a zombie who is the son of The Giant Fairy In The Sky who controls the world all without even a shred of physical evidence, then I get to believe that love is loveā¦no matter where you find it.
I think I'm a little bit in love with the director now! *giddy*
