Two parcels were shipped to me today:

* "Supernatural: The Official Companion, Season 3" by Nicholas Knight. Because I quite disliked S3 - yes, a Bela!hater here - I stopped reading every article that popped up on the net last year. That's why I hope to read some interesting and new - for me, that is - things in the companion...

* And this jigsaw puzzle. I just love the colors. Do you maybe know who painted the picture, my dear flist?

Done!

I finished my Persuaders marathon! What a ride! For folks who have no idea what I was talking about these last couple of days/weeks, there is a very nice overview over in [livejournal.com profile] crack_van. But even after re-watching it, my most favorite episodes remain the same: A Home of One's Own and Death in the Family! This is a series to watch when you feel down and need some cheering up desperately! This show is over 30 years old, but it's still a keeper! *bounces*

And my first Alphonse Mucha jigsaw puzzle is done! It's this one, the dark-haired woman. I would take a pic of it but every time I connect my cellphone to my computer, my comp powers down :( Let me tell you, all the swirls and lines were making me all cross-eyed XD

Today was a real fannish day...

I watched another three episodes of Persuaders: Anyone Can Play (aww, sleepy Brett), The Old, The New And The Deadly (poor Danny, getting smacked around the whole episode through :P) and Angie, Angie (which was surprisingly dark for a comedy series).

I finished the Richard Burns jigsaw puzzle and started working on the Alfons Mucha one. So much fun!

I re-read the terrific, wonderful, amazingly feel!good Smallville story "Conflicts of Interest" by [livejournal.com profile] rageprufrock. I love Conner's voice: But besides that, Clark Kent sucked! He--he stalked Conner's dad and Lois didn't like him and he crashed birthday parties and sat on cake and he was weirdly tall! He was a stalking, weirdly tall, party-crashing cake-sitter! XD This fic is so hilarious and Pru hits the child's voice perfectly!

Then I finally read [livejournal.com profile] esohpe's Supernatural fic "To The End". It's a Wincest story and not really a happy one but very well written and big on the emotionally-tortured!Dean part :)

And I started reading Tanya Huff's "Smoke and Ashes", the third book about Tony Foster, resident wizard and harried PA. Looks good so far :)

I finished my Guilin, China jigsaw puzzle and I started working on the Richard Burns' one. Wow, the colors are so vibrant! *nerdy*

Last night, I discovered an amazing song. It's "Flutopia" by Flook. The song starts with a guitar melody, like nothing special. But then come the flutes and the guitar drops off and the drums start. And it goes on and on and on and faster and faster. In the end, you feel like the song vibrates through you! Oh wow, I need to get my hands on other stuff by Flook!

I started watching The Persuaders! from the beginning last night. This is the first time I see it in English. I'm so used to watching it in German - if you haven't seen Die Zwei (as it is called in Germany) in German, you missed an incredible experience! - so this is completely new for me. But Roger Moore and Tony Curtis rock in any language :D

If you love The Donald Strachey Mysteries and you love the movies, then go here to the [livejournal.com profile] nick_n_nora comm where one of the members posted an excerpt from Ron Oliver's, the movies director's, blog. My favorite part?

I am not so Pollyanna as to be unaware that I still live in a world where the sight of two men kissing elicits, at the best, nervous laughter -- and, at the worst, open hostility. But if the religious kooks out there get to believe in the sheer lunacy of virgin births, walking on water, and the resurrection of a zombie who is the son of The Giant Fairy In The Sky who controls the world all without even a shred of physical evidence, then I get to believe that love is love…no matter where you find it.

I think I'm a little bit in love with the director now! *giddy*

*smooches [livejournal.com profile] klingonpoo* Luv, your Xmas card is so cute I feel like melting! Thank you so much! *smooches some more*

I finished my A Quiet Time jigsaw puzzle by Richard Burns and today, I received my two new jigsaw puzzle boxes! A Romantic Garden by Richard Burns and Guilin, China! Yay! I see some intense jigsaw puzzling in the near future! *flails*
