Well fuck. Pardon my french. The one new show I actually cared about. And the CW cancels it. Fuckity fuck. Besides The Tomorrow People, they also canned The Carrie Diaires and Star-Crossed. The rest was renewed, including bottom feeders like Beauty and the Beast and Hart of Dixie. And they picked up Flash, Jane the Virgin, The Messengers and iZombie. And they passed on the SPN spin-off Bloodlines, too.

I repeat, fuckity fuck! :((

By now, I have hundreds of episodes of various shows downloaded that I haven't seen yet. Since Teen Wolf, I basically live and breathe TW. Yup, the season was THAT good.

One thing I have noticed this year regarding shows in general and the newbies in particular: an INCREDIBLY SLOW START. Like snail pace and awful shipping and generally boring material that cost several shows their viewership. Look at...

Almost Human: canned.

Agents of SHIELD: it started with 4.0+ ratings and now it's down to 1.8! It will be renewed because ABC is a part of the Disney network - but how can you lose 2.0+ demo points within 20 episodes with a material like FRICKIN' MARVEL?

Tomorrow People: it started with 1.0 demo and its last episode of the season - and almost certainly of the series - was 0.4. But then, it was executed by Julie Plec, she of The Vampire Diaries fame who is a huge fan of love triangles, so instead of focusing on the action, ULTRA vs. the Tomorrow People, from the get-go, it was all about who slept with whom etc. SERIOUSLY?!

And it doesn't matter how good the show becomes around episode 16 or whenever when by then most of its audience has fled in boredom! See SGU as another - expensive - example of a catastrophic failure. But the execs are incorrigible. They make the same mistake again and again and again, like they have blinders on their eyes or something...

Just last night, I was talking about how I was in a funk, how no show could get my blood pumping... Right? And today, I stumbled across the synopsis of The Tomorrow People's episode 109. And my excitement actually shot through the roof!

Cut, just to be sure! )

Also, next week's ep will end with John looking like this: link. Which totally supports my theory! Gosh, gosh, gosh! See? My heart's suddenly all aflutter! That's what I was missing. I like TTP but I literally ADORE John Young's character! So, whenever there's a storyline linked to him, I bounce like a demented rabbit!

Woohoo, folks! The Tomorrow People - and The Originals & Reign, too, but I don't watch those - got a full season pick-up! How awesome is that? Link.

I just really hope TTP will focus more on John Young's character from now on - on a shallow note, isn't he just pretty? *_* - and that Stephen will be taught a lesson, his carelessness is starting to get on my nerves. Cut, just to be sure! )

Shows I'm sticking with for sure are bolded, the ones I might end up dropping are in itallics.

You can check the official grid here: link.

Also, this is the trailer for The Tomorrow People:

The funny thing? The main character is played by Stephen Amell's cousin. And his introduction, "My name is..." is JUST like Oliver's in Arrow. LOL! These two shows will fit together like a glove, featuring the Amell cousins, LOL!

So, I decided to drop NCIS, Grimm and Castle next season and just watch them on DVD, once they are out. I'm still peripherally interested in them but the first rush of love is gone. And there are so many news shows coming up!
