I can't believe I'm saying this but Deeks' road to recovery in 503 was much more interesting to me than the Callen centric 100th episode. Maybe because the Deeks stuff was new, something we haven't seen on the show yet, someone dealing with PTSD, whereas Callen going lone wolf? Pretty much his standard reaction. And this time, it wasn't even necessary. If he had just told Sam and the others that he was going after Comescu, they could've gone with him - and they WOULD have gone with him - and Granger wouldn't have gotten shot. Though the fact that Callen's father was a KBG agent was a nice twist.
Fantastic special effects and a lot of action, which is exactly up my alley. But the main hero... I'm intrigued by his powers, but he's an idjit of epic proportions, to be honest. Why doesn't he tell his mother the truth? Is it better that she thinks he's crazy? What the...?
Honestly, I'm much more interested in John, the leader of the Tomorrow People. And in his past and connection to Jed. I bet that he's Jed's son, Steven's cousin. I mean, the actors are very similar, the same coloring and stuff. And I really want to know more about John and what happened to him in Ultra.
But the main girl, Cara... So, John isn't her boyfriend, huh? It's "not like that," huh? Darling, did you actually tell the guy with whom you are sleeping/smooching? Because, you know, one could really MISUNDERSTAND that. Is the love triangle really necessary?
