Movie: Frozen

Cast: Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad etc.
Rating: 4/5 or 8/10
I decided to finally see what the hoopla was about. And I liked it, there were quite a few really intense, action-filled moments. But overall? I'm not sure why this particular animated movie became so popular. Personally, I liked Tangled or How to Train Your Dragon better.
My favorite parts? Kristoff and Sven, hands down, both as kids and as adults. They were simply sweet. And I loved Kristoff and Anna's scenes, they were so funny and cute together.
My least favorite parts? Elsa and her issues. Like, seriously, they had the whole palace to themselves, with just a handful of trusted servants at hand. Was it really that difficult to give Elsa one huge hall to practice her powers and get them under control? Did she really just sit the whole 10 years or so in her room, brooding and bemoaning her powers? Or if her parents didn't think it safe for her to practice in the castle itself, why didn't they take her into the mountains to practice there? Maybe even with the help of the trolls? This was an easily fixable problem that bad parenting and self-hatred turned into a huge issue for no reason at all.
Overall, a really good, enjoyable movie. But it kinda scares me that so many people identify with Elsa. But that's just me - when I have a problem, I deal with it because no one else will do it for me.
