Yukito Tsukishiro, Card Captor Sakura

Oh, Yuki. The sweet boy with insatiable appetite. The mysterious supernatural being with many secrets. Sakura's first crush. The love of Touya's life... Yukito is all that and more. Yuki's relationship with Touya is what makes CCS so awesome - a thing that had to be eradicated in the US version, of course! Pah! In every incarnation in the Clamp universe - whether they are students, a king and his sorcerer or bistro owners - Yuki and Touya are an item and it's glorious!

I've watched y_m's sub of the last ep of Ouran High School Host Club and it killed me dead! The best final episode ever!

So, I loved this episode. I loved it, loved it, loved it! It had everything I could wish for. It was funny and touching and not too mushy... And now I need to buy the rest of the manga! *determined nod*

I planned to download the gg's version of the Coyote Ragtime Show anime but I just can't play it :( I have the matroska codecs and the x264 codec and whatsoever codecs and I still can't play it. I really really hate .mkv files no matter what anyone says about them being of more quality than your usual .avi files. So, I'll switch to Ideology's version since they are doing it in .avi :)

Another anime I started downloading is the hilarious Harry-Potter-ish series Zero no Tsukaima. It's about Luisa Zero, a magical girl who goes to this magical school... She is called Zero because she has zero abilities even though she has a great magical potential. And then, when the day of the summoning of the magi's familiars come she summons... a boy from the present time Tokio... Poor poor Luisa Zero! XD

Current Mood: amused

I'm not sure what to think of Cluster Edge. The story is original and the characters very likable... But the filler episodes that simply recap the previous eps get rather tiresome after some time. I mean, so far, there are 16 eps subbed and out of them, 3 eps were simple recaps where we learned nothing new. Why don't they simply shorten the anime instead of dragging it out this way? :(

But the story of Chalce is so incredibly sad. I mean, it really made me cry. His father, his mother, his first friend... and Vesuvia and what he had done to Chalce... and Hema's cowardice... Chalce's life was so full of pain and ended so tragically. But it's interesting how the anime slowly reveals his background. Suddenly you realize that even though Agate is the main hero, the whole anime is actually about Chalce and his impact on the lives of the people around him.

It's a strange anime, this one.

I decided to download the second season of Rozen Maiden - Rozen Maiden Träumend - after all. And I'm truly glad I did. This one is way better than the first one. I especially like the fact that ( SPOILERS ). Hehe, and I also like Souseiseki (the doll dressing like a boy?). She is so cute! :)

And what's the whole thing with the Japanese and Alice? This season, there is another anime with the Alice theme... *confused*

Wah! Prince of Tennis and the Rokkaku team! I love them. They are all such cute weirdos! David and his lame jokes and his partner kicking him all the time. Saeki (is it his name?) and Fuji - they seem to know each other really well *feels the yaoi vibes there* And the "why-why" guy and his whistling nose! LMAO It was so funny how their Oji chose their new captain - pointing! Cute. So cute!

And I'm so happy that there will be new OVAs to this series. Too bad that there will be only 13 of them. I would like for the series to continue and continue. I know that 178 eps are a lot but still... Well, I should be happy about the 13 eps. I mean, some series have 12 eps and that's it, right?

What the heck is going on with Cluster Edge? 10 eps so far and 2 of them are flashbacks? I mean, did they run out of ideas after only 10 eps? I feel as if the story isn't moving forward even an inch. I like the story, I really do. I sniffed over Chalce and I love Agate, Fon and Beryl... Even Vesuvia is interesting in it's own warped way. ( SPOILERS ) I'm looking forward to see how it'll continue... but I hope that there won't be any filler episodes anymore :(

And about other things... I got fed up with WinRAR popping the "Buy Me" window and downloaded 7-zip. It's an excellent program, super easy to install and completely for free. If you would like to take a peek at it, go to:

Cluster Edge: Wow, I haven't seen so many bishies at once since Meine Liebe. This series looks really interesting. And I hope that there will be a lot of yaoi written for it. The combination of Middle Age armors and High Tech is rather unusual and I can't wait to see more. Agata, Beryl, Chalce... Wowowow! I don't have the words to describe it! :D

Blood+: Another WOW! What a beginning. Blood everywhere. I like Saya. She is not a frail flower but a female hero I could love - strong, self-confident... Like Kaname in Full Metal Panic or Kagome in Inuyasha. And I really hope to see some great het relationship between her and Kai. I'm kinda crossing my fingers here hoping that he doesn't get killed. That would be so sad. *sniff* Intriguing, action-driven... and the monsters! Ick!

Off to watch Samurai Champloo...

After reading

genkischuldich's entry about the new animes Black Cat and Cluster Edge, I HAVE TO HAVE THEM! *swoon* Does anybody know if any fansubbing group will pick them up?

You know, instead of being a good girl and working on the challenges my friends issued, I watch Samurai Champloo! I'm on episode 11 and so far, it was the best one. Jin and the woman in the brothel. Nekkid Jin was so hot... *sigh* I really really like Jin. And especially his seiyuu. Yummy.

And about the challenges. Angst, that's all I can come up with these days. No matter how hard I try, all I see is angsty Wolfram, angsty Tsuzuki, angsty Iwaki... You see the pattern? A humorous quote from KKM? Angst as a response :( Gyah!

But my muse has struck in another department - pictures. I think I will make another mood theme. This time I will use the Clamp Campus Detectives anime. I have loved the Suoh/Nokoru pairing for years... *happy sigh*
