Cluster Edge

katikatI'm not sure what to think of Cluster Edge. The story is original and the characters very likable... But the filler episodes that simply recap the previous eps get rather tiresome after some time. I mean, so far, there are 16 eps subbed and out of them, 3 eps were simple recaps where we learned nothing new. Why don't they simply shorten the anime instead of dragging it out this way? :(
But the story of Chalce is so incredibly sad. I mean, it really made me cry. His father, his mother, his first friend... and Vesuvia and what he had done to Chalce... and Hema's cowardice... Chalce's life was so full of pain and ended so tragically. But it's interesting how the anime slowly reveals his background. Suddenly you realize that even though Agate is the main hero, the whole anime is actually about Chalce and his impact on the lives of the people around him.
It's a strange anime, this one.
