Quite tired, really

I've spent a good portion of the day translating a book that I really don't like. I better don't even start about that one, otherwise you will find me yelling: "Deliver me from the evil that is Fiona McIntosh." And if that wouldn't be enough, after I was done with my work, I had to translate something for my colleague and then for my boss - and I really don't care about Hasbro's social compliance audits, especially since there is no Czech word for "social compliance". Talk about dancing around a topic, really.

So, to sum it up, it's rather tiring to translate something you can't stand day after day after day. I don't even feel like watching anime anymore. I have seen like 5 eps of something or other this week? I'm so far behind in all the anime that it's not even funny. The only anime where I'm up-to-date is Black Lagoon because really, it's Black Lagoon! So, I'm watching TV series and gay movies and I read. And I'm sleepy almost all the time *sigh*

And you know, I'm actually thinking about buying manga to other anime than xxxHolic and Fruits Basket. And what caught my eye? Bleach (of course XD) and GetBackers. The second manga doesn't really do anything to me with it's style but after reading the overview in crack_van, I find the plot quite interesting. It goes obviously much deeper than the anime - which was fabulous, btw!

Would you have any other suggestions? What manga should I buy? But please, no Death Note. At the risk of getting hit by a flying saucer, I just don't like it *ducks*

Please let me know if you want the Bleach manga in English. I have about the first nine or so volumes that I'd like to give away. I need to make space on my shelves. If you want it, I'll send it to you, free of charge. ^_^

I'm collecting FMA and Samurai Deeper Kyo. They're both different from the anime, so they're something I want to read. SDK is 38 volumes. *dies*

What's going on? *gasp* You are getting rid of Bleach? *gasps again* Of course I would want it :) Just tell me what I will owe you for that.

And GetBackers *should* get wrapped around volume 40. Maybe. The authors are not sure yet *sweatdrops* Too bad that the US publishers didn't pick up G-Defend it's yaoi but a really good sci-fi too about an anti-terrorist group on a space-station. 30 something volumes and it's still going on and on and on. For more than 10 years now...

Excellent! I'll mail the first 11 volumes (I had more than I thought!) as soon as I can get to the post office. It might be a week or two. Life is kind of hectic right now.

You don't owe me anything. Consider it a late Christmas present. I was looking to give them to a good home. I'm just happy they'll be going to someone I care very much about. ♥
