Anime and Manga

Lately, all I do in my free time is watch anime and read manga. I have so many series and books to catch up on that I decided to seriously do something about it.
Manga:
I finished reading two of the four volumes of LM I have at home. I don't like the art much but the stories are simply touching. Izumi and Katsura, Naoya and Reiji... They are so sweet. I'm very happy that I bought this one. There are so many interesting characters there, like Kiichi and the long-haired Izumi. And I know that the story will get even more interesting with Reiji's and Kiichi's father and their background story (yeah, I have some of the volumes as scanlations too and I just had to take a peek :D). And the story pushes all my h/c buttons so I'm very happy that I own some of the manga and I will probably buy the rest too!
Yellow is another wonderful manga with all the h/c moments and sweet and tender scenes you could wish for. It reminds me a lot of Fake but since there are only three volumes, the author had to squeeze the growing affection into only three books instead of seven like it was in Fake. Taki and Goh fit together perfectly, that's pretty much obvious from the very beginning. Although it gets a bit annoying when the author repeats the whole meaning of yellow every ten pages. And to be honest, I still don't get the "snatchers" business. Why snatch the drugs? Aren't they destroying evidence against the criminals by doing it? *scratches her head* But the interaction between Goh and Taki fills all the plot holes that appear in the story itself. I love it and will definitely buy the last volume too!
Our Everlasting is an incredibly sweet story of a very patient seme and very reluctant uke. The first boyfriend Shouin had hurt him badly and since then, Shouin refuses to let anybody get close to him. But then the surfer Horyu steps into his life and refuses to leave. There are a lot of ups and downs for them, but in the end, they get their desired happy end. The same goes for the couple in the second story - the art teacher Momose and the university student Takehiko. Momose is very sick and only a very risky surgery could save his life. Though he refuses to take this risk and decides to rather live for three more years then to die during the surgery. But Takehiko won't let him die of course ;P But the happy ends are kinda too happy for just the first volume. Since there will be a second one, the guys will surely go through new major crises and since I really want to know, what will happen next, I will buy the second volume too! :)
Jazz is a really strange manga. The art is rather unusual but distinct but that's not the only thing that sets this book apart from others - the uke is a lot older than the seme. At the beginning of the story, we meet Narusawa, a handsome doctor who is always smiling but at the same time, he is rather withdrawn. But then he treats Naoki, an asthma patient, and in that moment, his whole life changes. Naoki is finishing high school and preparing to go to the university. And he falls in love with Narusawa to the point of obsession. Lets just say that their first time is not very consensual on Narusawa's part but as their relationship progresses from a simple blackmail to something more, Narusawa's affection for the young university student grows too. As I said, it's a very strange manga but kinda unforgettable at the same time. I will definitely buy the second volume too since I'm curious about how their relationship will continue!
Anime:
I need a new anime to download and watch as much as I need one in the teeth, but I gave GK a try and now I can't wait for the next ep to appear. It's a fairly short anime - 12 eps only - and it's about sports too. Tazusa is a figure skater with the worst luck in the world. While attending a championship in Canada, she has a nasty fall and cracks her head badly on the ice. At the same time, on the nearby airport, a plane crashes to the ground and in the wreck, a 16-year-old Pete dies. But somehow, he gets stuck in Tazusa since it will take 100 days before he can get a heavenly body. The anime is hilarious - especially Tazusa trying to get rid of Pete - but at the same time, you can feel the sad undertones there. I mean, Pete is dead at the beginning which means that at the end of the series, he will go to heaven and there will be no happy end for the two. But at the mo, their adventures are simply hilarious and I'm happy that I gave this anime a try.
