OMG, this song, These New Puritans' We Want War... Well, the first 3 min. 30 sec., that is, then it becomes crappy and discordant, not my thing. But the beginning... Sheeeeeeeeeeesh!

It played in The Originals, ep 121, The Battle of New Orleans, right after Elijah took on every single vampire in the French Quarter and tore them to pieces, only for the werewolves to barge in and kill every survivor. It started playing while Elijah was walking among the corpses and wounded, all, "Are we done here?"

God, the whole scene of him kicking so much ass... Goosebumps, folks! Klaus and Elijah standing amidst all those vampires thirsting for their blood, the brothers completely calm and collected, even amused by their audacity, Klaus' "I thought this lot had learned their lesson!" and Elijah's "Well, they're not exactly renowned for their genius." That was amazing, the kings of sass! To see them standing there, side by side, united and not bickering, sheesh! They're unstoppable when they fight for instead of against each other! And then Marcel was all, "You're gonna have to kill us all!" and they responded, "Okay." God! And Elijah's amused, "Gentlemen. Shall we?" And then he literally broke them! That was so HOT!

But seriously, what was Marcel thinking? Klaus and Elijah cannot be killed! They don't get tired. They have several times the strength of Marcel's vamps. They are the frickin' oldest vampires alive, living, breathing legends, the bogeymen of all vamps out there! And that's what I love about them so much. Sure, they are woobies and I adore their sweet brotherly scenes - but... God, when they actually apply themselves, they're as brutal as it gets. And it's seriously glorious!

I haven't seen Mockingjay yet - hopefully, next weekend! *crosses fingers* - but I had to listen to this song. Wow. It gives me goosebumps and I literally tear up listening to it, the way it builds and builds and builds, Jennifer Lawrence's voice... I can't wait to see it!

I'm now more than ever convinced that Neal will fake his own death in the series finale. There are canonical hints for that: spoilers for 601-603! ) And there are also hints in the general spoilers for the series finale: vague spoilers posted before the show came back! ) And there was also the Mozzie related thing: spoiler! )

I also think that Peter will quit the FBI and that Neal's death will be partially the reason for that, because he will be grieving for him - he admitted many times that Neal was like a son or a younger brother to him. I think the FBI will once again try to screw Neal over and Peter will finally grow disgusted with the bureau. As he said in the very first episode, that's not how things were supposed to go, you get caught, you do your time. This, the bureau keeping Neal on a leash indefinitely? Peter will not stand for that. Also, the talk Peter and El had in this ep, about spoilers! ) And then there's the Diana and Jones related thing that said spoilers! )

So yeah, I think Neal will "die" and only leave a small clue for Peter that he might be alive, a clue Peter will decide to keep to himself. And I think that will be the perfect ending.
