Got my hands on Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and will watch it ASAP for the wonder that's Benedict Cumberbatch. But first - what a lovely BTS pic of Benedict and Gary Oldman:

It's awesome how wonderfully these two clicked. And I just adore how Gary Oldman talks about Benedict, with so much warmth and praise. It's incredibly sweet!

Two more pics from TTSS' premiere event! )

It's obvious the actors had a blast making the movie! And Benedict and Tom Hardy in one film again? How wonderful! I really need to watch Stuart: A Life Backwards, just because of the two of them *happy sigh*

Also, got my hands on Benedict's Third Star. I'll cry like a baby watching it, that's for sure. But I also think it'll be beautiful.

"The Blog of Eugenia V. Watson" by Mad Lori | John/Sherlock | A series of blog entries as written by John Watson's daughter. | Series.

I know what you’re thinking. Wicked stepfather, teenage rebellion, see how she resists this new person intruding into her broken home, destroying all her hopes for her parents’ reconciliation. Bugger all that. Just about every bit of that clichéd narrative is wrong in my case. I absolutely adore Sherlock and always have, because he isn’t wicked (well, not in the traditional sense) and he isn’t new, he’s been around my whole life, and my home is not broken, it works just fine thank you very much. And my parents don’t need to reconcile, they get along great. They’re just not married to each other anymore.

LOL! I love Genie! She's awesome. And their crazy little family is awesome! And her mother is awesome! And her humor is awesome! What a great feel!good series :)

... Cabin Pressure! It turned into quite an obsession in my case. I moved 4 of my favorite episodes to my MP3 player - Fitton, Ipswich, Limerick, St. Petersburg - and listened to them on my way to friends who I had lunch with today. Man, I must've looked like a loon, grinning stupidly!

BTS pic from the recording!

I mean, how can you keep a straight face when you listen to stuff like...

Dr Duncan: So, do you want to roleplay that through now, Douglas?
Douglas: I would love to. "Hey, chief, I might be wrong, but I think we're flying into a mountain. This makes me feel... scared of the mountain. One thing we could do is pull up and fly over the mountain. How does that sound to - pwoooochhh?"

Or...

Martin: Must you sit at the back, Douglas?
Douglas: I always sit at the back.
Martin: But there's only two of us in a lecture theatre with 500 seats.

Or...

Carolyn: Peter, it has long been a maxim of MJN Air that when Arthur stops helping, we can do anything.

It's wonderful! So, so wonderful. I'm smitten with it like whoa. I have 3 CP fics opened in my tabs! This show's exactly what you need when you feel down!

Much better than the previous episode - the dramatization, I mean. Maybe because the scenes with Elsie and her husband weren't dragged out unnecessarily, they were all to the point. You know, The Dancing Men is one of the saddest SH stories, IMHO, and this was very well done.

I loved the first scene with Holmes and Watson, the one where Holmes deduced why Watson didn't plan on investing his money in South Africa. Holmes was such a drama queen there, gestures and poses and expressions - while Watson just sat back and watched him, all amused.

Another great scene was the one where Watson berated Holmes for not eating. Then the one where Holmes almost gave in and used cocaine again. Or the one where Watson whispered to Holmes to let the maid sit down. Yes, even here Watson is there to show Holmes how to behave like a human being. And I LOL'd when Holmes demonstrated what the letter E looked like in the secret code!

So far, I'm really enjoying this Holmes and Watson :)
