Finished watching the mini-series Dune with Alec Newman as Paul Atreides. Not bad at all.
What I didn't like were the time-jumps. I mean, I can understand why the writers used them, they needed to cover a lot of ground in only three movies. Still, I would have preferred some... clue, something to tell me how much time has passed - like, I don't know, "Three years later" or something. The end-result was pretty confusing in places. And choppy, because there were like a scene or two, a time-jump, three or four scenes, another time-jump...
Hm, well, I definitely liked it better than David Lynch's version, the one with Kyle MacLachlan.
What was really creepy? Alia, Paul's pre-born sister. Yikes. I find creepy kids scary.
