The Mentalist is rocking my socks! This is the kind of show that I was missing on TV - a show where the girl is kicking butt and shooting things and being competent and generally awesome without being a bitch, which is the TV's standard for a "cool female character" these days. Robin Tunney and Simon Baker have a great, awesome chemistry - which is something, that Fringe is desperately lacking - and I love the way they interact on-screen.

Also, I have a sekrit kink and that's the man being the "damsel in distress" which Patrick really is - two episodes in a row. Oh, don't get me wrong, he's fantastic, his observation skills, the way he can make people smile and confess to anything... But I also love that he needs rescuing and that Theresa is very protective of him - it's a rather unusual set-up and that makes it totally awesome! :)

So yeah, this show makes me giddy with happiness like you wouldn't believe it! And it's a perfect match with NCIS, another awesome, feel!good, team show :)

I just ordered The Sentinel S1 on DVD. I suddenly felt a strong urge to see the show again. I mean, Jim and Blair and Simon! \o/ Too bad that the other seasons aren't out on DVD yet :( Would you believe that I saw that show in three different languages and none of them was English?

Also, I added Early Edition S1 to my Amazon wish list. How I loved this show! *sigh* Would you believe that I have no idea how it ended, though? The same goes for The Pretender. My interest just waned. But that's what DVDs are for, right? :)

And actors. I love Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. I love to read about them, about their con attendances, about their banter and bickering off-screen, about the pranks. But I don't feel any urge to see them in something else besides SPN.

With Joe Flanigan, it's just the opposite. It's enough for me to know that he's happy with his wife and his three sons, I don't need details or interviews etc. But I already bought two movies that he was in just because he was in them. And that's why I will keep buying SGA in any sort and form, as long as he's in it. And I will look for more movies/series with him in the future. I hope that he'll get to play detective again. I love him as a cop! :)

Oh, and I re-watched SGA's Ghost in the Machine. I do understand why some people might not like the main storyline of this ep, but I adore, love the the beginning. Flying monkeys! Jumper mishap! John immediately knowing that the flickering lights were Rodney's fault. His "Rodney!" when the bolt almost hit him! It's so cool that when I feel down, I watch the first ten minutes over and over again! \o/
