... here. I'm still bitter about the cancellation but I'm trying to stay positive and in this article, there were some things that gave me some hope...

* "I can't predict whether an ongoing series of Atlantis-based movies will prove successful," Mallozzi said. "However, if the performance of the two SG-1 movies is anything to go by, the audience is out there." - please, please, please, let the movie be a success *prays* I will be pre-ordering it the moment it pops-up on Amazon!

* "While the adventure will be stand-alone, the character moments will certainly draw on past experiences and future potential."

* "While I like the idea of some crossover, I think SG-1 movies should be SG-1 movies and Atlantis movies Atlantis movies," he said. "Two movies of each a year would be a true best case scenario." - I agree, please, no Xover movies. And it would be awesome if we could get two movies a year of each. MGM realized that the films bring in money so maybe they'll be willing to give more money to make more of them? From what I heard, the Stargate franchise is second only to James Bond in MGM's pockets. And two movies would be like a mini-series and I could be content with that.

* In a recent post at his blog, the producer also noted that the number of Stargate movies produced each year will depend in part on scheduling. "I think that we could produce as many as three Stargate (either SG-1 or Atlantis) movies a year," he said. "Four is a long-shot, but very possible." - please, let him be right for once! Please? With a cherry on top?

* The Olympic Closing Ceremony was beautiful. Not as beautiful as the Opening one but still impressive. I loved the human torch best. But London's introduction was... bland compared to that, to be honest. I hope that the British do better in 2012.

* I ordered the Tropical Heat series box set (the whole series for 26.99$!) and the novelization of SGA's pilot episode, "Stargate Atlantis: Rising" by Sally Malcolm from Amazon.

* I'm staying strong. I'm spoiler-free for Supernatural's S4 and I resisted and didn't download the ripped gag reel. I will wait for the official DVDs to arrive *nods* I feel so proud of myself :P

* And something shocking! Last night, I finished another fic for my charmedprompts table, this time using the prompt: "The more things change, the more they remain... insane." - Michael Fry and T. Lewis. Wyatt's falling...

* Psych, ep 3x06! My spoilery thoughts... ) Happy, happy :)

* I finished reading Ariel Tachna's gay vampire book "Alliance in Blood" and I must say that it was the most sugary, the cheesiest book that I've read lately, with poor, fragile men and tortured souls *snorts and rolls eyes* Luckily, I got rid of the awful after-taste by reading vol. 8 of Clamp's "xxxHolic". Watanuki and Doumeki rock my socks. I think this is one of the best manga by Clamp - the right amount of angst and humor!

* I started reading Supernatural's "S2 Official Companion". It's just what I need to prepare myself for S4! My favorite quote so far? What Robert Singer said about Eric Kripke: "the show's creator, executive producer, mind like a steel trap, with the metabolism of a humming bird." Hummingbird!Kripke XD I could so see it...

* Amanda King keeps rocking my socks! The eps 1x09 and 1x10 were so funny XD In the first one, she was mistaken for a reporter who slept with everything that had pants on (thanks to first Lee and then another guy kissing her to escape attention), in the second one she convinced KGB agents to spend Christmas with her, an injured Lee and another CIA agent in a cabin in the woods - make peace, not war and all that... Lee just stared XD

* The promo for the new episode of Stargate Atlantis looks so good! I wasn't sure if I would like this ep when I read about it in Joe Mallozzi's blog but boy, it looks so good! Too bad that we have to wait for two weeks to see it! Puh :(
