Despite low ratings, Defiance and Dominion were renewed for S3 and S2, respectively, by Syfy: link. Congrats to their fans! I tried to watch Defiance but it didn't grip me and I dropped it. I have yet to watch Dominion...

So... It wasn't love at first sight. I wasn't instantly smitten with the show like I had been with SGA way back. I think I will have to sample it a bit more to see in which direction they take it. If it'll a sci-fi or a soap opera.

Yes, as you noticed, Nolan's the only character whose name I actually remembered. I don't know what it says about the show, to be honest. I was... intrigued by what I saw, that's true. But only the next few eps will tell if the show's actually worth sticking around for.
