Defiance 101

So... It wasn't love at first sight. I wasn't instantly smitten with the show like I had been with SGA way back. I think I will have to sample it a bit more to see in which direction they take it. If it'll a sci-fi or a soap opera.
What I would like to see:
- More of Nolan and his daughter. I was intrigued by their relationship.
- Nolan's daughter and his black deputy becoming a couple! I really liked his attitude. He could be a good influence on her. To be perfectly honest, their scenes were the best!
- More of the Native American girl's relationship with the alien boy, they were sweet.
- More of the acerbic doctor, she was kind of awesome!
- I'm curious who will become Nolan's love interest: the mayor or her prostitute sister.
Yes, as you noticed, Nolan's the only character whose name I actually remembered. I don't know what it says about the show, to be honest. I was... intrigued by what I saw, that's true. But only the next few eps will tell if the show's actually worth sticking around for.
