On the TV front, I finished Supernatural S1 on DVD and started watching Lucifer on Netflix. Go me! Other than that? Still obsessed with MacGyver; I have now written 17 fics in this fandom, amounting to 20+k words!

On the cinema front, I went to see Justice League and I honestly don't get all the hate, why people dislike it so much. Affleck's now my second favorite Batman, right after Michael Keaton. The Clois moments were sweet and Steve Trevor was not forgotten. And Jason Momoa's burning hot. So...

On the DVD front, I watched Oculus, House at the End of the Street, Fast and Furious 8, Monster Trucks, xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Iron Man 1. Yes, I decided to make a dent into the piles of DVDs just lying around. And then I went and bought 3 more, of course *shakes head*

Last weekend, I went to see Wonder Woman. It was a very good movie, but I honestly didn't see it as some ground breaking masterpiece - which I didn't dare to say on Tumblr because they would've ripped my head off. It was a very good, very well filmed movie and Gal Gadot and Chris Pine had amazing chemistry, I ship Wondertrev like whoa. BTW, I have to buy the novelization because that part's even more heartbreaking there! Apparently, Chris Pine signed a multiple movie deal, so I'm curious what they'll do with his character in the future.

A surprisingly good movie! I wasn't all that fond of Man of Steel, it felt flat to me, but I really liked BvS and I cannot wait to get it on DVD and watch it again. So much story packed into one movie. And Ben Affleck was a great Bruce Wayne! I'm not a huge fan of his, but he was amazing in BvS, I liked him much better in this part than Christian Bale, TBH. But the highlight for me was Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman! I got real chills when spoilers! ) The score in that scene was breathtaking.

So, from me, both thumbs up. Definitely worth seeing in the cinema!

OMG! Tom Hardy will be playing the leader of the Suicide Squad team! Huzzah!

Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto are officially set to star in Suicide Squad, Warner Bros. announced Tuesday.

Also cast in the movie based on the DC Entertainment villains-forced-to-be-heroes are Jai Courtney and Cara Delevingne. Much of the castings have been previously reported but the studio also confirmed which characters the actors will play.

Smith will play Deadshot, best known as a Batman villain, while Hardy the group’s leader, Rick Flagg.

Leto will take on the Joker while Robbie will play Harley Quinn, his on-and-off girlfriend. Courtney will be Boomerang while Delevingne will play Enchantress.

I wasn't all that interested in the movie but with Tom Hardy in it? GIMME! \o/

It looks like Jena Malone might be playing a female Robin in Batman vs. Superman: link.

I don't like it. I love Jena Malone and I'm not against a female Robin per se. But out of the 50+ years of Batman history, they choose the Robin with the least impact on the story itself? Dick Grayson and Nightwing, Jason Todd and Red Hood, Tim Drake and Red Robin... Robins with huge impact on the Batman myth, Robins that could be spun-off because, seriously, why hasn't there been a Nightwing movie is beyond me! Unless they go with Dickie Grayson, Jessie Todd or Tammy Drake. Pah!

They really keep killing my interest in the movie. Right now, the only thing still keeping me going is Gal Gadot. Everything else makes me go all, DO NOT WANT!
