Kanon (2006) is LOVE! First, you must know that I haven't seen the previous series so this is my first taste of Kanon. The story seems rather interesting though. A bit funny, a bit sad, a bit angsty - just the perfect blend for a good anime. It also seems to be one of those "harem" anime that start funny but end up angsty as hell.

But there are two things that won me over for this series from the get-go!

1. The "artwork" people are the same who worked on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya so you can expect top notch quality!
2. Tomokazu Sugita!!! It's the same seiyuu who voiced Kyon on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya! Nobody does sweetness and sarcasm in one package better than he. I'm smitten *sparkles*

So, if you like the "slice of life" sorta stories, then go, download and watch! I can't wait for the next ep :)

My dear friends, is there anybody on my flist who would have the first two Saiyuki seasons on CDs and would be willing to share some eps with me? I tried to re-burn this anime from CDs to DVDs and found out that some eps don't work. For Saiyuki Reload, I found the torrents but for the first two series - zip, nada. Would someone be willing to help me? Thank you, Sharon :)

And I think that the new anime Shinigami's Ballad could be interesting in a cute/sad/dreamy way. The Promo can be found here.

Still enjoying Kage Kara Mamoru and Magikano too. In the latter, first dark hints appear among all the comedy... Interesting.

I finally caught up on Noein. The latest ep made me cry though. I suspected that something like that would happen, that there wouldn't be a happy end for the two friends, but this... when it looked like everything would work out... I hate when something like that happens in the moment when everything seems to be okay again. :( I just hope that the series will have a happy end *crosses fingers*

And Shakugan no Shana. Another anime that made me cry. The second ep? I mean... Wah! :( I like Sakai very much, how he doesn't mind that he will disappear one day but it makes him very unhappy that nobody will remember that he even existed. That's so sad :( But the series is great. I love the fight scenes. Hehe, and there is the weird guy who loves to play with dolls *g* A great anime!

Prince of Tennis! LMAO! Prince of Bowling. Fuji fainted in such a lovely way... And Tezuka having nightmares about his team :)) The poor guys. Inui and his juice - even he can't drink it. And Oishi loves bowling! He looked so cool with his glove. The little devil. I loved the chibi scene in which the cops came and tied up Eiji. That was my favorite one. He looked so confused, the poor chibi! I'm still enjoying this anime very much! :)

Is it just me or is everything in Sousei no Aquarion about sex? I mean, m/m, f/m, f/f, you name it, it's there. That's one weird anime, I tell ya *shakes her head*

Did AnimeKraze give up on KKM? Feels like it. That's why I'm downloading the raws. I understand bits and pieces and at least I see what's going on. Looks like the next ep will be a big one for Wolfram. Finally. I love to see our blondie in distress. And I'm happy that at least at the very end of the series, he turned into something more than a pretty background picture.

And it really surprised me how much I like Paradise Kiss. Not enough to buy the manga but I can't wait for the last ep to be subbed. I wonder if Caroline and George will have their happy end or not. That series is different from what we usually see in anime and that surprised me in a very pleasant way.

But in Gilmore Girls I'm starting to hate the fact that Luke still didn't tell Lorelai. It was he who insisted that they had tell each other everything. And now this! Argh! Sometimes, I really hate men! :(

Oh, and I made my first .gif icon! *points* Taken from Shakugan no Shana. When I saw the flame, I knew I had to turn in into an icon. The quality is nothing much, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it!

I found some new shows I want to follow from now:

Karin: That's one hilarious anime about an un-vampire girl. Confused? Well, she is a vampire who gets a nosebleed every so often, especially in the presence of a certain new student at her school. The student kinda reminds me of Kurosagi Ichigo from Bleach.

Gunparade Orchestra: Since I love mecha, I just had to download this one, right? And it looks kinda good so far. Especially the feminine male teacher with the little heart on his face. *g*

And to my obsessions?

House! Of course it's House. His cases are interesting, his humor sarcastic, his relationship with Wilson fascinating. And I found some great fanfiction too! I especially love Eos' stories. You can truly hear House talking when you read the stories. My favorite fic of hers? Lost Causes, definitely :D

And my decisions?

I decided to unsubscribe from all my Gundam Wing MLs. I went "no mail" a long time ago and lately, I haven't been reading any GW stories anyway.

And I decided to close the FindYaoi ML. Nobody is posting anything there anyway. It's so quiet that I'm not even sure if the members are still alive out there. So, January 1st the ML will be deleted.

Oh, and I decided to join the 1sentence community with a... drummroll... HET pairing! Yes, a het pairing - AkiraxTakumi from Mai HiME. They are the sweetest het pairing ever! :)

Wanted to ask, was there ever said anything about Wolfram's father?
