This is a really sweet movie but it's not my Marvel favorite, that honor belongs to Captain America: Winter Soldier. I love the characters in this, especially Star-Lord, Rocket and Groot, I'm intrigued by Star-Lord's origins - and I hope that in one of the future movies, he finds his way home and meets his grandfather! - and fascinated by Rocket and Groot's friendship - I would love to know how they met! - but the movie as a whole, though well made, doesn't get my heard pumping with thrill and excitement. There are scenes that make me LOL like a nut - mostly because of Rocket and Groot's antics - but I think overall it lacks the tight action of CA:WS. Best part? Dancing Baby Groot, hands down! \o/

Nice! I think I'll now have to actually watch the movie, Limitless, because this is not a remake or a reboot but a sequel! And they got Bradley Cooper to exec-produce it AND recur in it! Nice!

Title: Valentine's Day (2010)

Cast: Bradley Cooper, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Julia Roberts, Eric Dane...

It's your average feel good Valentine's movie, nothing really special. It's an anthology of stories, so to speak, connected through various chance meetings of their main protagonists. Some are more interesting than others, but all of them are only touched upon, none goes deeper.

My favorite was definitely the story of Sean and Holden, played by Eric Dane and Bradley Cooper, respectively. The twist with them and the resulting final scene with them was the most beautiful thing in the whole movie. I loved it, I adored it and I wanted to know more about them, about their lives, about their happy ending. It was so sweet! ♥_♥

Watched the new DVD I bought a couple of weeks ago. And yup, still glitches but not as many as on my old DVD. So, that's a plus, I guess.

The movie is so incredibly over the top. It's WAY out there. Nuts. I mean, there are genuinely funny moments - "He's trying to fly the tank!" - but then there's stuff that should be all earnest and whatnot but is a bit cringe-worthy - like Hannibal's and BA's first meet. Still, it's a lot of fun. I don't get why it tanked. I would've loved to see more of their adventures. Oh well...

You know what I loved best about this movie? The team itself. They were so incredibly sweet together. They weren't just bickering, they genuinely cared about each other. And they were unusually touchy feely. Especially Face loved touching people - a pat on the shoulder, a squeeze of a hand... It was nice!

On a shallow note: BRADLEY COOPER IS A HANDSOME DEVIL!

Okay, what about another meme? Movie month! Let's see if I can watch 30 - or 29 now - movies in the next 30 days *cracks knuckles* You know, I have this huge pile of DVDs on/in/under my desk and I need a real incentive to finally watch them!
