don't be dull, be fannish

It was time! I was suddenly gripped by this overwhelming urge to change my LJ/DW layout. I have had the same layouts for years now. And spring demanded out with the old, in with the new. Tadaaa! I hope the new design will make me want to post more. I'm also slowly overhauling my icons. Some of them I haven't used in ages. It's time to change that!

I've been posting to DW these last few days and as I see, most of my entries didn't make it through. Oh well, won't be re-posting them here, that's for sure, it would be inconsiderate to clog up my friends' flists. If you want to read and/or comment on those entries, go here: katikat.

I know this latest outage wasn't LJ's fault, but honestly? Were these troubles worth moving LJ to Russia? Sure, even before there used to be problems but not of this magnitude. I guess LJ's now reaping what they sowed *shrugs* I would prefer if they focused more on safeguarding the site to keep it running instead of on all the bells and whistles to make it more hip or whatnot.

In conclusion, my primary site's DW and it has been for months now. Should LJ go kaboom again - and it will, the only question is if it'll take days or weeks this time - visit me on DW. And if you have a DW account and I haven't added you yet over there, drop me a note? I don't want to loose contact with you, my friends :)
