Okay, that was... definitely different than the books. Actually, it feels like they just took the bare bones, the basic plot and changed everything else. I'm not sure what to think of it or if I'll even continue watching it, but wow, they must have blown their budget on songs. Also, I like the actors they chose - though Damon is definitely hotter than Stefan, IMHO ;)
