Lie to Me

The pilot of Lie to Me has been sitting on my HDD for months - and now I finally watched it! And it was so good! Like The Mentalist but different, funny and interesting in its own way. I'm thinking of buying the show on DVD - to download the rest of S1 would be a pain in the butt XP Anyone on my flist watching this show?

And speaking of DVDs - I ordered SG-1's Continuum because Amazon dropped the price to $6.99 only - it doesn't get any lower than that! Now to get S10 and I will have the whole SG-1 series in my grabby hands!
And I added the show Acapulco H.E.A.T. to my order - the whole series (two seasons) for $9.99! Yes, Amazon is having a huge sale again :) I used to love this show to pieces - it's one of those "directly to syndication" series like Baywatch: beautiful people, not much plot ;P I just loved Michael Worth playing the martial artist Tommy. Gorgeous guy!

LIE TO ME~~~!!! My brother watched it first and recommended it to me. OH god, I fell in love with it. XD With Tim Roth probably but er... I look forward to it every week but now.. well we'll have to wait for season 2. *can't wait* ^_________^

I've enjoyed it a lot. ^_^ It just seems so short~! I love how you get to know a little more about each character as it goes on. ^_^

Oh, I love Lie to Me. I started watching Lie to Me and The Mentalist at the same time, and I still can't decide which of the two I like more. Pity that season 1 was only 13 episodes.

Hehe, I think we should be glad that it even got a 2nd season. After AI, it was soaring, but when they moved it to 8pm, it dropped like a stone - compared to its previous ratings, that is :(

I think LIE TO ME is quirky and fun. I love the lead actor and his female sidekick. I plan to watch it when it returns in the fall.

Oh yeah, I really like Lie to Me. And yes, for the most part the episodes maintain a high standard. I was wondering how they were going to be able to make a series out of catching people lying but they're done a very good job of including variety. There are ups and downs, of course, but I'm really looking forward to the next season.

I'm curious about the "twist" they had announced that should have happened later in the season. I suspect that they exagerated - like all the show runners out there - but I'm curious where they will take it. And the young guy in their office is so cute :P

Hmmm. I don't recall anything that I'd categorize as a "twist". I did miss a couple of episodes but nothing much seemed that different, just the slow revelation of characters.
