ABC's two new sci-fi shows...

But! Both will be heavily serialized and even though I used to love that a few years back - I was a huge fan of the old V and of Marc Singer - I now prefer episodic TV shows with overarching plots like SPN or NCIS. They both have stand-alone episodes with one solid story that stretches throughout the season like a red thread. So, I don't really know if I will watch it or not...

The new V looks pretty good. The old V mini-series (both of them) were great and the TV series started out good but went downhill fast.

You know, I wonder what happned to Marc Singer's career, it went downhill fast as well.

I loved the old V - I loved Mike and Faith together. But the show went swiftly downhill once they split them up to... I don't know, create "tension" or for whatever reason. I was so pissed that I actually contemplated not watching it anymore, but I did stick with it till the end.

Marc Singer starred in the Beastmaster show based on his movies but that's it, I guess. I know that he then mostly played the bad guys :(
