* I ordered S9 of Stargate SG-1. Yeah, yeah, I know, I still don't have seasons 2-8 but with S9, they basically rebooted the whole franchise with the Ori saga and if I want to understand what's going on in the movies... I know that there's the small featurette "The Road Taken" on the The Ark of Truth DVD but to sum up two seasons in 10 minutes... Nya, nya. Besides, I need to get to know the characters of Mitchell and Vala first.

* I started translating Michael Williams' "Galen Beknighted". Well, ugh. I wasn't all that excited about the prequel - "Weasel's Luck" - so I'm crossing fingers here that this book is better - but I don't really hold my breath, to be honest.

* And they picked up 90210 for a full season. Good for its fans. But Ostroff's words don't really fill me with confidence where SPN is concerned: "The successful addition of 90210 has taken The CW another step forward in building a cohesive schedule that defines this network as a destination for young women with shows that get our audience talking -- and watching." I bet that she had a cow when she saw the 64% spike in women 18-49 for SPN's premiere.

yeah-- I am so disapointed in CW. Lets take the two networks with the longest history of speculitive programing and turn them into --- well I don't know what.

Finsihed Iron Kissed a few days ago. Enjoyed it. And I've always loved Adam (One of the few times I was rooting for the guy I liked) the thing with Ben was interesting - becasue it's also explaines why he reacted so badly in the last book. He had his control taken away.

The book with Charles and Anna has a lot of Bran in it.

There's Bran in the new book? Huzzah! He's just awesome and I felt that it was too bad that we saw so little of him in Iron Kissed :(

Oh yeah - quite a bit of him actuly. In fact we find out why he's mated to a woman he dosn't seem to like. And that was cool.

We get to see him as a dad too - cause you know even if your babies are 200 they are still your babies.

At the end of Iron Kissed I made up a conversation between Adam and Bran starting with "Adam, you know that you're an ass, right?"

I saw maybe three eps from the 9th and 10th season of SG-1 that's why I want to buy these first since they are basically a new storyline. I stopped watching SG-1 around S5. Now I want to buy all the seasons on DVD.

Hmm I own 1-8 on dvd and love them to bits. 9 isn't high on my priority list but I do so love Cam and Vala. Not so crazy about the new general and medical officer though.

Basically a new story line yeah but a kinda bad one. Ori are just... and the way they're handled it's just you completely want to smack them half the time. *argh*
