Less than good first:

* I'm still annoyed that people keep saying how Jared and Jensen are being pigeon-holed. If Jared decided to do a romantic comedy, they would go all "Oh, Jared, not another New York Minute..."

* I find it quite annoying when Bela-lovers accuse Bela-haters - count me in the second camp - of disliking Bela for being partnered with Jared and Jensen (Bela is a character, those are actors, for crying out loud) or for wanting no female characters at all on the show. Right. That's why so many of those "haters" like Ellen, Ruby, Sarah, Carmen, Lisa, Casey or even Jo and Cassie. When you lack arguments, blame it on petty jealousy X/

* It's really hard to stay enthusiastic about the translation that you work on when you feel like throttling 4/5 of the characters *head/desk* If the authors left out a half of the mind-numbing scenes where all the characters do is shuffle their feet and ponder what they should be doing, the book would definitely not have 610 pages!

And now the good stuff:

* Amazon sent me my Supernatural S2 official companion! *bounces impatiently*

* You remember me talking about that Were!chesters series that I had all planed out? I actually wrote the first fic for it last night. Woot! I'm made of awesome *so proud*

* As you know, I just can't get into SG:A fics. As much as I like Stargate: Atlantis, I just can't. But I would like to. And so I decided to try a sneaky way to get into it. My two favorite podficers, issaro and zabira turned some SG:A stories into audiofics and since I would listen to anything those two read...

* And "Daemon Eyes" by Camille Bacon-Smith is so good *rolls in the awesome*

Here's the thing, if Jensen was cast as the rough sexy guy with the devil may care attitude and/or Jared was cast as the sweet guy reluctant to embrace his destiny, then I'd worry they're being type cast. But from what I read in both characters' descriptions, this is not the case. I wish people just back off. This is like the worst fandom to please ever.

You're so right :( And it just makes me sad. Jared and Jensen love their fans and this is how they pay them back. Why can't they be happy for them? Just for a minute instead of booing loud about how stupid they are for taking these roles X(

sakdjhaksjfhkalsjfh THE BELA THING. I HATE that argument. It's SO STUPID and people use it ALL THE TIME. I hate Bela because I think the writers royally screw everyone else over when she appears on screen, not because she's a girl and people like to dream about her having sex with Dean. Which, EW GROSS, but that's beside the point.

Frankly I think horror flicks will make up the majority of scripts they get even offered. I don`t know what people expect but they need to work their way up first. They both got lead roles, that`s something already. And, really looking at it, even most big stars are typecast, either action or comedy or angsty drama.

I for one am excited there will be a movie I have an actual chance of seeing. Though a bit sad because I still had a tiny hope Jensen might come to Asylum now that Jared has cancelled but with the dates overlapping, no chance. Sniff.

Ah, the straw-man argument, how I love it. Because it`s absolutely impossible to dislike a specific female character for specific character-related reasons.

I equally love it partnered with the "those characters (was about Ruby and Bela both) are great and Bela is a fantastic antagonist, bla bla" so it comes all down to "everybody who doesn`t agree with this (my) universal truth is obviously silly and jelass.

Makes me want to twack them. YOU might think so, buddy, doesn`t make it the objective truth. Urgh.

I don't know much about Jensen's likes and dislikes - but Jared loves horror. So I'm excited for him (even if I am a little worried about the movie it's self- I wasn't too thrilled with the re make of TX chain saw - and it is the same creative team) but I'll probalby see both of them.

Shouldn't we be happy that they get to do what they love? And that (at least in Jared's case) it's a genra that he loves?

As to chericters I'll never get why anyone would try to argue another person into seeing a chericter the way they do. Like if I hated Ava (to pick a non hot button person) why would I try to make you hate her to - or the other way around.
