The Middleman 1x04: Ha, Men in Black, the Middleman version. Kinda cute XP
Riptide 2x07: Poor poor Nick, all upset and crying - Joe Penny did an awesome job! Cody and Murray comforting him (do I smell a threesome there? ;P). Murray breaking locks! Ha! Nice!

Reading:
"Twilight" by Ally Blue. Man, I so missed gay romances!

Anime:
Black Lagoon will get a 3rd season! Huzzah!

Joe Penny really did do an awesome job of that episode, huh.

The beginning of that ep, IMO, is *extremely* Nick/Cody slashy. But once we get into the story, this episode, for me, is pretty much canon-slash free. (shame)

But what makes that so interesting is that in normal "life" that we see, Cody and Nick can't peel themselves off each other, yet when Nick is in the particularly conflicted and hurt space he is in this whole episode, Cody can't seem to work out how to get close to him.

It's not that Cody isn't there for him, because he's actually doing a better job of being supportive and listening than we've ever seen him do before. But he isn't cuddling him. Or even sitting next to him.

What I think? They both know that if they touch they're not going to be able not to kiss, so they're saving it for the stateroom this episode.

Hehe, I like your interpretation! To me, it felt like Cody simply didn't know what to do, not really. He's not used to being the "comforter" because Nick is usually the one who keeps it together. And suddenly, Nick falls appart and Cody doesn't know what to do with it.

Also, I love the eps written by Stephen J. Cannell! He writes such a competent Murray and he gives the actors actually something to do, not just look pretty and shoot at things :)

Yeah, well that's right. He doesn't. Although he does do better than usual. I'm still thinking - stateroom - cuddles. Definitely. (*VBG*)

And yes, you're right. Stepen J gives us a much better Murray. I hate Lupo's Murray worst, actually - he makes Murray the geekiest.
