You know, I thought that the SPN fandom wanked about female characters but boy, was I in for a treat in the SGA fandom - so much Keller!hate like you wouldn't believe it! I mean, it's true that they introduced her to get a young, blond love-interest on the show (shipping her with both Ronon and McKay really didn't help) and she replaced the much beloved Carson but... ugh! *covers her eyes*

SGA fic rec:
GEN (if a bit slashy in later parts of the series) --> "Retrograde" by Martha Wilson. The Atlantis expedition has been lost for three years. SG-1 goes to find them, and arrives just a little too late. This is simply awesome. I mean it. It's full of h/c but the characters - both SGA and SG-1 - are so them. Especially the O'Neill vs. Daniel and Sheppard vs. McKay banter is just perfect! Words: almost 30.000.

And I have a question for Charmed fans on my flist. I have an idea for a future fic but for that, I need to know how many children the Halliwell sisters had. Piper had three: two boys and a girl; Pheobe had two girls, IRC; and Paige? I think that Paige had three or four, twins among them... at least one boy and one girl. Oh, and what was the name of Darryl's son? *head/desk*

Darryl kid is Darryl Jr, if I'm not mistaken. And I think Paige had twin boys and a girl. I could take a very quick look at the episode later if you want me to.

You know it's very cruel of you to ask a question about Charmed because of course I'm gonna have the answer! Well, IIRC, that is. So I think they actually all had three kids; two boys and a girl for Piper, three girls for Phoebe, and twin girls and a boy for Paige.

As for Darryl's son name, I have no idea.

There's still no consensus about Phoebe's and Paige's children *scratches head* But at least I now know that Darryl's son is Darryl Jr. XD

I want to write a fic where Darryl Jr. is a cop too and he investigates something drug related in the P3 and he sees all the young people - the Halliwells but he doesn't know that at that time - go one by one into the backroom. So he follows but he finds out that they disappeared. They actually have a sort of "secret base" in the basement of the club where they meet to plan actions against demons etc. They don't meet at the house because they wanted a separate base, to have the home secure. And bit by bit Darryl gets involved in the whole fight...

I have carried this idea in my head for a very long time so I thought that it was the right time to actually do something about it :D

As for Paige and Phoebe...Phoebe had three daughters; Paige had one son (Henry, Jr.) and twin daughters (no names given). Like I said, i watched it yesterday.

Well, the Gwen (from Torchwood) hate that I've seen rivals anything that I've seen in the SPN fandom... and yet, I'm okay with that. Really okay with that.

I never really paid attention to anything beyond Piper's kids, so sorry I can't be of more help.

Great! Thank you so much! For this fandom, I love to write gen because the relationship between Wyatt and Chris just blows me away. I mean, Wyatt killed his whole family and kept only Chris alive, him specifically, it's just... mind-blowing, what you can with that!

I watch TW for Jack and Ianto, for their relationship. The others are... dully noted XP And I'm not interested in the fandom at all - which is odd because the Jack/Ianto pairing is awesome but I have yet to find a well written story X( And if there are such intense wanks there, then I'm happy to stay away!

And don't worry about Charmed. I got my answer already. It was three kids each, nine children in the family :)
