Shakugan no Shana

"On that ordinary day, I found out that I was dead." That's the tragic discovery Sakai Yuji makes on his way home from school. Being almost devoured by a monster looking like a giant doll doesn't help his mood either. And then there is this girl with a sword who almost cut him in half, then glued him back together. Obviously, this is not another ordinary day.

I downloaded and watched the first episode of Shakugan no Shana and I truly loved it. It reminded me a lot of Bleach and Noein at the same time. The fact that the story begins with the main hero being actually dead is kinda new and original - at least to me. There are monsters, sword fighting, evil dolls... This one is definitely a keeper!

I have been trying to put some order in the tons of CDs and DVDs that I have. I'm slowly, very slowly digging my way through the heaps and piles of CDs and it looks like there went something ka-boom in my room these days. CDs and cake boxes everywhere. And my mum is just rolling her eyes thinking me a weirdo :D Yeah, that's MY ordinary day ;)

And a question: Are you faithful to a certain subbing group when you download anime? I usually just download the first version that appears, no matter who the subber is. There is only one series where I keep downloading from one source - Lunar and their Bleach. But that's just because I'm way behind in this series so I don't mind waiting for new eps to appear. What about you? *curious*

I'm pretty faithful to a single subber once I start a series. I might download someone else's subs if a group gets behind a lot, but I'll still archive just one version. Lunar is a good example. I download whatever subber's version comes out first, but I only archive Lunar's.

I tend to be pretty faithful to a single subber. When Aoi-Anime stopped subbing HaruToki, for example, I had a look at C1Anime's subs, discovered I didn't like them and stopped watching the subs completely. (I got enough out of the raws to know what was going on anyway.) Then there's Sousei no Aquarion, which I'm downloading just from Mahou, though I don't know of any other groups subbing it so that's part of it...etc etc, etc etc. ^^;
