Stories and other stuff

I've been a busy busy girl these days. Actually, last night I wrote two, you hear me, TWO stories. One was the response to merith's challenge "May I?" in the Haru wo Daiteita fandom - yes, I'm STILL working on the challenges, I didn't abandon them :D - the other was a sequel to my GW story One Moment in Time with a very sick Wufei. And even my Gorgeous Carat story is progressing. It's up to 6300 words now. I'm so proud of myself :D

And in the manga department... I bought a fantastic manga called Little Butterfly (Kleiner Schmetterling) by... err, forget the mangaka's name right now. It's about two boys getting together. Nothing original but so incredibly sweet, since there is the whole embarrassment and awkwardness about not only getting together, but falling in love with another boy too. Incredibly, incredibly sweet. Too bad that there are only two volumes out of three out so far :(

And Combination - that kinda disappointed me. The first two books are great, like really really. But the last three? The mangaka changed her style, added a young boy character and the whole story lost it's appeal to me :( And if that wouldn't be enough, the story ends with a cliffhanger you could compare to S2P1 in the Sentinel fandom and there will be no more books since the series was canceled :( But I still like the premise so maybe I will decide to write a sequel to the books and get everything right again? *ponders*

And I finally finished the trilogy by Jane S. Fancher - the relationship between Mikhyel and Dancer was so great (will write a review later) - and now I'm reading Mark Anthony's Last Rune series which is oh so good and so creepy at the same time. Very content with that *nodnod*

And I'm off again. I will respond to all the comments as soon as I return home since I have limited access to the net here :(

Way to go on the fics! You're certainly churning them out! I'm so envious of all the lovely manga but I'm really happy to hear you liked Little Butterfly. It's by Hinako Takanaga, one of my favorite mangakas--precisely because all of her stuff has the sweetness factor you mentioned. That one is being released here next year, as well as "Challengers" which is just awesome. If you can get your hands on it, I definitely recommend it. It's more shounen ai than anything else, and there are 4 volumes altogether so it's "plot-heavy" in the way you like.
