Fafner! (possible spoilers)

I finally watched the whole series of Soukyuu no Fafner and I have to say that it's the damn best mecha anime I've ever seen. There is practically no humor there. Each and every episode makes you cry. The series is even sadder than Full Metal Alchemist and that's a real achievement! It's so incredibly sad to watch the kids fight against the Festums and die one after the other. And the ending? It's one of the slashiest non-slash endings I've ever seen. Kazuki and Soushi are THE pairing in this anime. When the Festum kidnapped Soushi and Kazuki flied after it, pummeling it to dust crying "Give him back! Give him back to me!" you just had to cheer "Yaoi!!!". And the very ending of the series with Soushi asking Kazuki to wait for him and Kazuki promising to wait forever... *sniff* And people call Gundam Wing slashy. Pff! ;D

You should. It's a great series. At least for me :) I loved it and I can't wait to see more of Fafner in Autumn. I heard that the new series will be a prequel to this one. I just hope that there will be more about Kazuki and Soushi. They are really great together. And they kinda talk about each other all the time too! :D Really slashy!

Well... hm... yesno... or noyes... Argh! *tears her hair out* I don't know how to say it without giving the ending away. Hm, there is definitely hope so it's not gloomy dark. It's kinda sadly hopeful. Hm, I think that doesn't sound right. But! The very ending - even though it's not happy - is what makes the yaoi in this series so... there, I would say. It's bittersweet! Yes, that's the correct word. And so open for future fanfics! :D

Fafner is so good. I truly love this series. And the Kazuki/Soushi pairing is simply... incredible! There should be another Fafner series this Autumn. I think that the new one should be a prequel to this one. I'm really curious!

And Mai HiME is another series I love to pieces! Especially the Akira/Takumi couple. They are the sweetest! :D
