* Fox is talking about reviving The X-Files and they would like to get back David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson back: link.

* Fox renewed Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Gotham and Empire for another season: link.

* Tom Hardy dropped out of Suicide Squad: link. And there goes my interest. Official reason? Scheduling issues. Rumor has it, though, that he didn't like the script.

* Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen won't be in X-Men: Apocalypse: link. Not unexpected. As long as I get awesome scenes with McAvoy and Fassbender, I'll be happy.

* Emily Blunt was cast as the Snow Queen, the vengeful sister of Rowena, in The Huntsman, sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman: link.

I'm still on an oldies trip. This time, it's Acapulco H.E.A.T. which ran 1993-1994. Here's the intro:

It's about a special unit based in Puerto Vallarta that deals mostly with terrorists, kidnappers and so on. It's a team of eight people. The leaders are Ashley and Mike, veteran agents, MI6 and CIA respectively, then there's Brad the bomb expert, Tommy the martial artist, Chrissy the computer geek, Cat the cat burglar and Marcos the local contact, and also Arthur their, well, sorta butler slash manager. The stories are simple and the acting mostly atrocious, but it's still fun.

My reason for watching this has always been Tommy and Cat played by Michael Worth and Alison Armitage respectively. They were usually paired up on the show whenever something physical needed to be done: she could sneak in anywhere and he covered her back. They were just friends in S1. But in S2, which was filmed 4 years later, they were the only one who stayed in Puerto Vallarta and they got a new team. It was also hinted at that there might be something between them which was why they stayed together while everybody else had split. Tommy and Cat were awesome together because they liked to tease each other a lot. He made fun of her many boyfriends, she made fun of his non-existent love life.

You see, I just adore Michael Worth, another B movie action star. He's half white, half Native American of the Delaware tribes and his Native American background was used on the show, which is lovely. Also, his shoulder to waist ratio is out of this world! *_* Yes, I'm shallow like that :P
