"A Vintage Affair" by Josh Lanyon

Rating: ♣ ♣ ♣ ♣

This was not a typical Josh Lanyon book. Yes, there was a murder but the main character didn't really play a sleuth. He did find the body but that was all. After that, he stayed firmly out of the investigation which is quite unusual for Josh Lanyon. And there was another unusual thing, a sex related thing, that surprised me. Not in a bad way, I just didn't count on encountering my favorite kink in his books. So. I liked it, I liked the story and especially Austin's character. The book was nicely different.

This is my favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle piece ever. It's amazingly well drawn, the voice cast is excellent - Chris Evans, Patrick Stewart, Sarah Michelle Gellar - and it focuses on my favorite turtle: Leonardo!

Gosh, the relationship between Raphael and Leonardo in this movie! The fight scene on the roof, when Raphael broke Leo's katanas and then almost stabbed him in his rage... Raphael's expression when he realized he lost control over himself, how far he had gone... His expression when Leonardo was then kidnapped, when he heard Leo scream... when he had to tell Master Splinter and admit that it was his fault... the gentleness with which he helped Leo out of the cage... AWW! MY HEART WAS MELTING! *rotf* Beautiful!

The funniest bits? Donatello playing IT - "Did you plug it in? Yes, it would help!" - and Michelangelo in general. The way he opened his eyes oh so wide, the way he grinned. These two... MWAH! Love them!

Such a wonderful, wonderful movie *happy sigh*
