It's not a secret that I loved January Jones' Emma Frost and this Emma is so, so perfect. Vain and insolent but also loyal.
Charles runs a hand through his hair, brings it down to his chin. “Fine,” he says a moment later. “How is he?”
Emma takes a small sip and doesn’t say anything. Erik realizes, two seconds and a nervous gulp of weissbier later, that they’re communicating telepathically. Charles sits back in his wheelchair, pursing his lips. “I see,” he says.
Erik suddenly wishes his mutation were telepathy as well. What is she telling him what is she telling him what is she telling him...

"The Memoires of Sherlock Holmes" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle4 stars out of 5
Most of the cases were pretty intriguing but what I was interested in most were the small things we learned about Holmes. Like, that he was a messy person ("The Musgrave Ritual") or that he didn't care about his health, much to Watson's frustration ("The Adventure of the Reigate Squire") or that he had only one friend during his university studies, Victor Trevor ("The Gloria Scott") or that he had an older brother more brilliant than him, Mycroft ("The Greek Interpreter")... And there was also the introduction of Professor Moriarty ("The Final Problem"). I was also surprised by Doyle's open-minded approach to quite the racial issue of his time ("The Adventure of the Yellow Face"). All in all, a very interesting anthology.
