Seriously, why?

Peeps, does anybody actually know why here!TV canceled Dante's Cove? (The same way they dropped the Donald Strachey movies?) I mean, DC was ludicrous, the acting was pretty bad and you didn't have to simply suspend your disbelief, you had to send your brain on a vacation to enjoy the show - still, it was a ridiculous amount of fun and the sex was HOT! Toby and Kevin were such a gorgeous couple and even though I was sad when the writers broke them up, Kevin and Bro were... WOW! Talk about Stockholm Syndrome! And then it was dropped, even though the official web still talks about season 4 *grumbles* Man, I now feel like re-watching the show again - just for the SEX!

Once he was sure John wasn't going to move, Sherlock shifted just enough to be able to pull at John's jacket. John helpfully shrugged out of it, his face still buried in Sherlock's neck; once freed, his arms fell back down, framing Sherlock's body. Sherlock felt John's hands curling underneath and around his shoulders, slow and hesitant, and let the jacket fall where it might. He put his hand in John's hair again (soft warm nice) and resumed stroking his back, savouring the feel of John's musculature beneath the thin wool-blend jumper.

I love feel!good fics. And the ones where Sherlock's comforting John are my favorite!

"A Pint Light" by Devon Rhodes

This is basically a mushy PWP with little to no world-building. By the end of this short e-book, the reader has no idea how this world operates, if magic is known to everyone or not, why vampires can walk freely in the sun... Nothing. Less sex, more background info and plotting would've been appreciated.

Reports are coming out of the Creation Stargate Convention happening this weekend in Vancouver. The major news, just an hour old, is that Brad Wright said there will be no movies for any of the three Stargate series. Link

Not that I was still holding any real hope, but... They canceled SGA to MAKE THE FRICKIN' MOVIES! And now we have a flop of a series and no movies. Great job, TPTB. Just awesome!

At least we have the "Legacy" book series... *sigh*
