katikatYou know what? No matter what anybody says, I actually like EJ. I mean, sure, sometimes she's a bit too full of herself, but I like that she isn't intimidated by Gibbs. Because what Gibbs did in 820, the way he behaved in the interrogation room was childish - to show your suspect that you don't respect your own colleague is wrong, just wrong. You can hate his/her guts, but in front of a suspect, you present a united front.
And I love EJ with Tony, the way Tony always lights up when he sees her. And I love that Tony finally stood up against Gibbs for something he really wanted - for EJ. I bet that Gibbs will be right, that sleeping with EJ will cause Tony a lot of trouble, but that's not what's important. Tony finally stood up for himself. I think that the P2P killer will either a) target Tony for sleeping with EJ or b) kill EJ and totally mess up Tony's head. I mean, there has to be a reason why it was he, Tony, who received the eye, right?
And another thing I love is Tony's behavior right now, that he finally feels mature. Sure, he's still joking around but mostly, he's calm and quiet. It's a nice change. I loved his little chat with Gibbs in the cellar.
I think that Ziva will leave with Ray. And that Abby's flirting with the Big Guy will bring her and Tim closer again. And I like the way the new team's stirring the waters. AND I'm really curious about the P2P killer!
Some nice background info on Eric, that he hates guns and that he doesn't want to be out there, in the field. I think it's a nice touch. Loved the gentle ribbing between Callen and Sam and between Kensi and Deeks. Other than that, it was mostly a filler ep.
Only 3 eps of each remain before the shows go on hiatus, if I'm not mistaken :(
