According to The Futton Critic, TNT bought SPN's repeats: "TNT has quietly acquired the off-network rights to The CW's veteran drama Supernatural" - yay!

Synopsis... )

Review: An interesting manga with great potential for future development. This volume consists of stand-alone stories that set the "mood" of the series. The last story tells the reader how Asagi and Amano met. Also, the vibes between those two are rather yaoi-sh - when Amano met Asagi, Asagi was dressed like a girl and Amano fell for him and hard. So far, it looks like he still has it bad for his boss and Asagi teases him mercilessly about that. This manga is funny but also very creepy and there are a lot of nude scenes so it's definitely not for kids!

SLASH --> Fraser/RayK: "Gun, With Occasional Kangaroo" by punk, read by zabira. Summary: Frannie's got a romance novel with a big strapping Mountie on the cover, shirt hanging open, hair blowing in the wind, you know the kind. Length: 1hr 20mins.

The guy in the cardigan had taken his role as apothecary a little too seriously and now Romeo and Juliet, both underage, were higher than two kites and waiting for their parents to come pick them up. A small riot had broken out during rehearsal when Juliet claimed to have seen a kangaroo backstage. Romeo insisted it was a wolf, and in the resulting stampede, Tybalt got pushed off the stage and broke his leg and Mercutio called 911. Officers at the scene saw no wildlife, just two extremely high teenagers who were more than willing to point a theatric finger at the apothecary.

This story was so in tune with the series itself! The voices were just perfect. Ah, I miss the show so much. Must marathon it soon, I still haven't watched the DVD box set that I bought!

Another three episodes set in the US. I loved them jumping off the ship to escape the enraged mob. Ha! That was funny.

But, you know, these episodes seem to be missing the... spark of the first seasons. I mean, S3 had the best scene of all - Bertie stealing the painting! - but as the show progresses, the plots become quite... old, recycled, you know? Even Bertie seems tired of the shenanigans. Also, it's a bit annoying that they keep changing the actors playing the various characters, it's rather confusing :(

I don't know if it was intentional or not, but to me it feels like Bertie is... maturing. I could actually see him settling down in the country with Jeeves or traveling through the world with him. It seems like even Bertie is slowly having enough of his friends' dragging him places and getting him in the most ridiculous troubles. It's very subtle, no glaring changes, just a feeling...
