According to The Futton Critic, TNT bought SPN's repeats: "TNT has quietly acquired the off-network rights to The CW's veteran drama Supernatural" - yay!

It's excellent. Thanks to that, WB gets much more money out of SPN. It's one of the reasons to keep even a low-rated series on air, especially if the network airing the show is also the one that's filming it. That's why ABC bought Scrubs, because now it's them who is getting the money Scrubs earns in syndication. Syndication is a big trump in renewal decisions.

Actually ABC has always owned Scrubs it was one of those weird things where they sold it to NBC who didn't give a damn about it. :D

As far as SPN being on TNT that's awesome news! That's the spot ER had forever and anything on TNT and USA over time earns a new audiences and can sometimes boost the newer seasons of current shows. Of course that'll only help if SPN gets a season six. But I know that when NCIS was on USA, after a year it significantly boosted NCIS’s ratings, although in a better spot.

Ah, I didn't know that. I knew that there was a big bruhaha about ABC picking up Scrubs for syndication money. It's really confusing, who films what for whom :P

Yay! Well also if the CW goes under, TNT is pretty good about picking up series (i.e. Southland) and if they're already showing it they might just add it in.

I'm just sad it'll be on at 10am I'll be working during that period and I don't think it's quite the right entertainment for 2-5 year olds. XD

That's great, but I hope they also run it later in the day. I usually can't watch TNT at 10am during the work week.

I'm really curious about how it'll do on TNT. I thought that it would fit better on SyFy, especially with their GhostHunters docu series.
