Clamp's "Tsubasa 19" (manga), #133

Wow, we really did leave the fluff behind. That was creepy and cruel and dark and I'm still stunned. Clamp really knows how to shock. I mean, I hoped that this volume would delve into Fye's past but I didn't expect ~that~! Now I'm curious how the others will react to what Fye did. And how will Fye react. I'm so glad that I bought the next volume already!

Oh, and I feel the insane need to slash Geo and Eagle. I don't even know from which Clamp manga they are but they were so immensely slashable in this book! Maybe I'll look them up and buy their "original" manga if they are as slashable there as they were in here.

So, what's the thing with Dean/Castiel?

I'm first and foremost a Wincester. I know that it's not everybody's cup of tea but I love it. But these days, a lot of Dean/Castiel stories are popping up. I haven't read any yet because I'm not sure what the "mainstream" in this part of the fandom is. I mean, Wincest? I love stories where Sam and Dean either "switch positions" or Dean's the bottom. There are lotsa stories like that. But I'm not sure about Dean/Castiel...

Does anybody on my flist read Dean/Castiel? What's the main trend in those stories? Dean on top? Castiel on top? Switching? What do you prefer? Do you have favorite stories? I love bottom!Dean fics but I'm not sure if that would fit this pairing...

Writer's Block: Forgive and forget?

I can forgive, but never forget. When someone crosses me, it sticks in my mind like glue and I can't ever, ever forget it. And it makes me more cautious. It's right there in my mind whenever I deal with that person again. Hey, I still remember who said what to me back in Yahoo Groups.

I'm like a turtle - I open up to people but when they hurt me, I retreat into my shell and it takes a lot to make me crawl out of it again.

He doesn't look at Castiel as he says, "You're staring again. Why do you do that?"

"You're beautiful," Castiel says. He's honest because it's easiest.

Dean pauses in the middle of flipping the blanket back on the bed. "Oh," he says. Pauses, then says, "Are you, y'know, allowed to say things like that?"

"In finding you beautiful I'm simply adoring my Father's creation," Castiel tells him.

"Right. Well, could you adore with less staring?"

The first Dean/Castiel fic that I ever tried. And you can never go wrong with fleshflutter as the author and fayjay as the reader. Beautiful.
