Podfic rec: SPN, Dean/Castiel

PRE-SLASH --> Dean/Castiel: "I Love The Bones Of You" by fleshflutter, read by fayjay. Summary: Dean has been missing for three days. Length: 3.500 words/30 mins.

He doesn't look at Castiel as he says, "You're staring again. Why do you do that?"

"You're beautiful," Castiel says. He's honest because it's easiest.

Dean pauses in the middle of flipping the blanket back on the bed. "Oh," he says. Pauses, then says, "Are you, y'know, allowed to say things like that?"

"In finding you beautiful I'm simply adoring my Father's creation," Castiel tells him.

"Right. Well, could you adore with less staring?"

The first Dean/Castiel fic that I ever tried. And you can never go wrong with fleshflutter as the author and fayjay as the reader. Beautiful.

Thank you so much for the rec :) And with fleshflutter, you can't go wrong. She's such a great author. She wrote one of my favorite - if not the best - Wincest fic in this fandom: "The Old Gods Return", wow, still enthralled with its Lovecraft-ian atmosphere.

Cool, I'll have to check this out! I'm not a huge Dean/Castiel fan, being a Wincester since the very beginning, but I do like some of the fics.

Oh! If you don't mind a counter-rec, I highly recommend my very first Dean/Castiel (which is also Dean/Sam and Castiel/Lucifer), and it's remarkable. It's Reverb (http://audiofic.jinjurly.com/reverb), written by leonidaslion and (oh hey!) actually read by fayjay. :)

I'm just getting into Dean/Castiel myself, I'm a Wincester through and through. And I found out that the best way to get into a fandom is through podfics read by your favorite podficers.
