More SG-1 musings

GW posted a short article about the upcoming 3rd SG-1 movie - beware of slight spoilers, mainly casting. I'm really looking forward to it! I still need to get Continuum - *glares at Amazon that refuses to lower the price* - and some 8!!! season box sets but just knowing that there'll be a 3rd movie with the original cast intact for once makes me rather happy.

And what also makes me happy is the fact that SGA's movie will be directed by Andy Mikita! I mean, Martin Wood is great and his behind-the-scenes are always funny but his commentaries are too technical, they concentrate more on the camera work etc. whereas Andy Mikita always dishes some juicy tidbits about the actors etc. \o/

I really hope that both movies are a success since I want to see more of both, SGA and SG-1! Though, as said in the article above, the fact the movies will be filmed in spring/summer means that they won't be released until 2010 which is a bummer, puh :(

Though the SG-1 audiobooks and books that I ordered and all the talk about the movie... It made me crave some SG-1 watching! So far, I have only seasons 1 and 9 on DVD, so I need to order the rest, but I foresee an SG-1 marathon in the near future!

Try to juggle names like these on every second line in your translation! My fingers are permanently attached to Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V! Yeesh!
